October 9th

"Promise not to tell anyone?" Remus was sitting in a corner of the Gryffindor common room with Lily. The girl smiled and held up her pinky finger.
"I promise." Remus smiled. He knew he could always trust Lily.
"So... the thing is, I'm bisexual and in love with Sirius." Lily looked shocked for a second.
"Huh?"
"Did I stutter?" Remus picked up a book and hid his face behind it. Lily grinned.
"No, that's great!"
"Don't make such a big deal about it..."
"Sorry, sorry. You should tell him though." Remus put the book down and looked at her. He looked like he was saying "seriously?".
"Yeah, right. I'm pretty sure he's as straight as this pencil." Remus took a pencil from the table and held it up. Lily snorted.
"Sirius Black? Straight? Gimme that pencil." She took the pencil from Remus and snapped it in half. "That's how "straight" he is."
"Still." Remus bit his lip. "He could never like me."
"Oh? Why don't you go ask him yourself then?"
"Fine! I will!" Remus only realised what he had agreed to after he'd already done it. Lily smirked at him.
"I did not just agree to that." Lily giggled and stood up.
"Tell me how it went", she said happily and skipped off. Remus sat there with his scarred face in his hands, cursing himself.

"Padfoot? Padfoot!"
"Ah! What?"
"You zoned out again. What are you thinking about?" James asked.
"The boy I'm in love with", Sirius said dreamily.
"Again?"
"Mhm..."
"Tell me who it is!" James pleaded.
"Okay fine!" Sirius ran a hand through his long, black hair. "It's... it's Moony."
"Moony?" James didn't look surprised, he rather looked like he was trying not to celebrate out loud.
"Yeah."
"Ask him out."
"No! I can't do that!"
"Why not?"
"Because he's straight." Sirius looked away and bit his lip.
"He said that?"
"Well no, but... ugh, just forget it!"

"Black!" Sirius looked up at professor McGonagall. She had a very interesting expression, like a mix of bitterness and something else Sirius couldn't quite understand.
"Yes professor?" Sirius said, sounding uninterested.
"Can you repeat what I just said?" McGonagall asked.
"Sorry professor, I wasn't paying attention."
"And why is that?" Sirius looked down at his desk, too embarrassed to tell McGonagall the truth. He had been watching Remus. The way his light brown hair fell into his eyes when he wrote down almost everything the teacher said made Sirius stare.
"I would say the answer to that is that you were too busy staring at Lupin", McGonagall said with a subtle smirk. Remus' stomach made a back flip as he turned bright red.
"Kill me", Sirius whispered to James (who was sitting beside him), blushing from embarrassment. Remus glanced over his shoulder at Lily. She looked like she wanted to say "what did I tell you about Sirius being straight?"

October 16th

Remus was sitting in the common room, gazing at Sirius. Lily was once again sitting with him. Suddenly Remus stood up and walked over to Sirius. He licked his lips and spoke quickly.
"Can you meet me under the oak tree by the Black Lake in an hour?" Sirius furrowed his eyebrows.
"Sure", he answered, confused.
An hour later Sirius went outside and saw Remus standing under the oak tree. He looked nervous.
"Moony?"
"We need to talk." Sirius started to feel worried. Had he done something wrong?
"W-what is it?" Remus' stomach suddenly felt like it had a whole butterfly colony living in it. He forced himself to look Sirius in the eyes. Come on Remus, just say it already, Remus thought to himself.
"I-I like you- no, I love you! Will you-" Remus was interrupted by Sirius who wrapped his hands around Remus' neck and pulled him in for a kiss. For a moment Remus just stood there. Then he put his hands on the back of Sirius' head and kissed him back as rain started pouring around them. After a couple of seconds they broke apart. Remus smiled nervously as he stroked his rain-wet hair out of his eyes.
"Yeah I will", Sirius said with a wide grin on his face before taking off his leather jacket, reaching up and putting it over Remus' shoulders.

[A/N very crappy and a bad ending, sorry for that but I ain't very good at writing fanfiction]
