The Diary

1975

"Hey! James! Give it back!" Remus rushed down the stairs after James. James laughed and mockingly held up the diary in the air. Dorcas, who was talking with Marlene, turned to look at him. Remus tried to get his diary back but James kept moving, turning around and jumping out of Remus' reach.
"What's that?" Marlene asked.
"It's Moony's diary", James laughed and quickly turned around when Remus reached for it.
"Come on James, give it back", Lily snarled, "it's not funny. He's your friend for goodness sake." Remus jumped up to grab the diary again, but James jumped out of the way so quickly that he fell on the floor. James took the opportunity while Remus was laying there to start reading out of the diary. Remus got up quickly and tried to rip it out of James' hands.
"Stop, it's not funny..." Remus continued to try to grab the diary as James jumped around the room, Remus' secrets being exposed one by one.
"Please James." Remus touched the diary but James threw it to Sirius who started reading it, but kept quiet, not telling anyone in the room what it said. Remus flushed. Sirius looked up at him and grinned.
"You love me?"
"S-shut up and give me that!" Remus took the diary from Sirius and ran up to the dormitory.

"Moony."
"I'm sorry."
"Come on. Look at me." Remus sighed and shook his head. Sirius touched his arm. Remus stubbornly stared down at his pillow, refusing to look at Sirius.
"C'mon Moons." Sirius put his hands on either side of Remus' legs. Remus felt his face turning red.
"Fine", he murmured, turning to Sirius who moved his face closer to Remus'. Without warning Sirius kissed Remus on the lips. Remus could feel his heart pounding in his chest as he kissed Sirius back. He wrapped his hands around Sirius' neck. 
"Padfoot? Moony?" Suddenly James pushed the door open. Remus and Sirius broke apart instantly. James stood there in shock. Remus looked at him with an excusing smile.
"Jesus, get a room you two!" James exclaimed.
"We were in private until you entered." Sirius laughed.
"He has a point, Prongs."
