Joey's POV

I was cleaning Seto's office, since he wasn't around to do it, when the phone rang. I decided I would let it go to voice mail, but then I saw the name and picked it up straight away. It was Heba, Yugi's twin brother.

"Hey, Kaiba, would you mind keeping that information to yourself?" He asked.

"Whatcha goin' on about?"I asked.

"Don't you remember Yugi is in the hospital because he tried to take his own life" Heba said.

"Why would Yug' do sucha ting?" I asked in disbelief.

"Because all of his so called friends abandoned him. I already told you this. Now would you please keep it to yourself" Heba begged.

"Yeah, no problem Heba" I lied.

He hung up and I bolted from the room, knocking over papers in the process. I had to find someone! Anyone! Then I bumped into the man I love.

"How could ya' not tell me Yug' tried to commit suicide!?" I screamed.

"Because, puppy, you abandoned him. Yugi would tell you eventually or might've eventually ended his life. Wait...... How do you know?" He asked bewilderment on his face.

"Because, Heba called to make sure you would keep this to yourself. You weren't around and so I answered the phone" I admitted.

"Joey, you can not tell anyone! If it is Yugi's wish, then we must obey. Do you want to try and mend things with him?" he asked grasping my shoulder.

He called me by my first name. He never does that unless he is absolutely serious about something. I shivered when I heard my actually name come out of his mouth. But I nodded and hung my head in defeat.

I had to hang out with Yami. I am going to have to try to keep this to myself, but I don't know if I can do it. I walk outside the Kaiba corp. building and see Yami standing there.

Don't say anything about Yugi. Don't say anything about Yugi. I thought to myself.

"Hey Joey, what's up?" he asks with a smile.

"Yugi's in the hospital" I blurted out. I cov, ered my mouth with my hands and tried to take my words back.

"Wait what!?" Yami exclaimed.

"He..... He...... He tried to commit suicide" I said almost not being able to.

"We have to go see him!" Yami said oulling me into the car as we drove toward the hospital.

The ride was full of Yami asking me questions that I couldn't really answer. The only one I could semi-answer was when he asked "why would Yugi do this?"

"Because we all left him alone. If it wasn't for Heba, he might be dead" I said.

"What do you mean we left him? I live with him!" Yami shouted.

"When was the last time you had a conversation with him? Or when was the last time we all hung out?" I asked.

He sat down and actually started thinking. He stayed silent and it had been a long time before he spoke again.

"What can we do now?" he asked sniffling.

"Try to apologize and beg for forgiveness" I said with a new found determination.

We pulled up to the hospital, and Yami bolted from the car. I thanked the driver, and trailed behind Yami. I entered the waiting room and I heard Heba screaming.

"How the hell could you do this!? He is your hikari for Ra's sake. You better hope he pulls through" Heba screamed as Yami kept backing away.

"And you! You're supposed to be his best friend. How can you forget about someone you have been friends with for years? I will help you join Yugi if he dies!" Heba said now turning his attention toward me.

"Heba, were sorry. We are here for Yugi's forgiveness" I stated holding my hands up.

"Hmph" he replied crossing his arms in front of his body.

"Where is he?" Yami asked shyly.

"He is being examined by doctors. Then he can be released" Heba said shortly.

This was Yami and I's chance to redeem ourselves. If we could prove that Yugi still meant so much to us, we could maybe win his forgiveness.

At that moment Yugi was being escorted into the waiting room by a nurse. I noticed his very thin appearance, and thought that he hadn't been that skinny the last time I saw him. What had we put this poor boy through?

Author's Note: So now Joey and Yami know. What will happen from here? Until next time, bye.
