Is That Possible?

Yugi's POV

"I came home that one rainy day covered in bruises and scratches because I was mugged...." I started.

"I know this" Heba said

"And I was...... I was....... Taken advantage of" I said not wanting to say the "R" word.

"Seto just called and told me. I know Yugi. But it's okay, I'm here" Heba said.

"How in Ra's name did Seto know?........ Oh my Ra, that hospital was owned by him!" I said not meaning to say that last part out loud.

"What hospital? Yugi what are you talking about?" Heba asked.

I froze right there, dead in my tracks. I don't want him to think his baby brother is a freak. There is something wrong with me, and I can't come to terms with it. If Yami knew, he wouldn't want to be my friend, and neither would Joey.

"I've said too much. This was a mistake" I said standing.

"Yugi, tell me what's wrong" Heba said standing with me.

"I can't. Please Heba" I pleaded.

"We can work through this together, you just have to let me know what is going on" Heba said trying to calm me down.

"No we can't!!" I shouted running past him and put of my room.

I ran out of my room and into the bathroom. I shut and locked the door behind me, and backed away from it. Heba started pounding as I slid down the wall. My knees were to my chest and I was sobbing hysterically.

"Yugi, please you can tell me anything. I will always love you" Heba said from the otherside of the door.

I sighed and decided that he wasn't going to let this go. He wasn't going to give up unless I told him. I opened the door and poked my head out.

"Heba, there is something no one knows about me" I said as more tears came to my eyes.

"What is it?"

"I can carry a child" I said quietly.

"Yugi, what did you say?"

"I SAID I CAN CARRY A CHILD!" I yelled in his face.

He just looked at me bewildered. I stood there in fear as a thousand scenarios ran through my head, almoat all of them bad. When he started giggling, I felt like a monster.

"Yugi, seriously what is it?" Heba asked.

"I just told you! Oh my Ra, I knew this would happen. Just leave me alone!" I shouted as I slammed the door in his face again.

I heard Heba walk away and slid back down the wall, and went into the position I was in earlier. I cried for about half an hour before a knock at the door startled me. I called out and Heba answered.

"Come to laugh some more?" I asked wiping my eyes.

"No! Yugi, I didn't know that men could carry children. It seems too odd to be real" Heba said.

"Well it is real! And you know how I was raped, yeah that got me pregnant!" I shouted through the door.

"What!?"

"I said I had a fucking kid inside me!" I yelled back.

Heba gasped at my use of a swear word. I had never sworn in front of him before, and now that I was swearing at him, he didn't know what to do. I heard another door open and soon Heba was conversing with someone else.

"Yugi could you please let me in? I want to talk" Heba pleaded.

"No!" I shouted.

"What about me" Atem tried.

"Atemu? How much have you heard?" I asked nervously.

"I've heard enough. Yugi, let me in, I think I can help you" Atemu said calmly.

"Fine. No tricks" I said walking over to the door.

I unlocked it and opened it. Atemu quickly walked inside and I shut it behind him. I locked it and walked over to the toilet before sitting down.

"Yugi, what do you mean by the word "had"?" Atemu asked.

"Well a few weeks ago, I was being mugged again, but they left when they heard police sirens. One of them hit me in the gut so hard, that they....... they........" I couldn't finish the sentence.

"Oh Yugi, I'm so sorry. No one should ever have to deal with that. How did you find out?" Atemu asked sitting on the toilet next to me.

"I was feeling a sick, so I went to the doctor and described how I was feeling. He asked me to take a blood sample and a after a few tests, he asked me if I would come with him into a another room. He asked me to lift my shirt, so I did and he smeared some goop on my stomach. He then held a thing up to my stomach and at that point, I knew what was going on. I looked at the monitor and saw some movement" I described that expirience with as much detail as I could muster.

"Does Yami know this?" Atemu asked.

"No. Everytime I tried to tell him, he would tell me he was busy, or to go away" I said as I remembered the multiple occasions I tried.

"Yugi, is all of that true?"

Oh Ra, not him. Anyone but him. Why did he have to hear this? Oh Ra, why does everything happen to me!?

"Yami?" I asked hopeful i was imagining his voice.

"Yugi, it is me" he responded.

I looked to Atemu in fear, and he read picked up on it quickly. Atemu got up, and walked toward the door. He waved for me to get out of sight and once I did, he opened the door and slipped out of the bathroom.

"Atemu, let me see him!" Yami shouted.

"No! You've caused him enough pain as it is" Atemu said as both pairs of feet soon disappeared into the distance.

Sometimes I wonder why I'm even still alive. Does Ra think it's funny to see me suffer? Is my life just destined to be one disaster after another?

Author's Note: I'm sorry that this chapter got a little dark. I feel bad for making Yugi go through this, but I feel like he isn't portrayed as a strong person enough. And if going through all this doesn't prove strength, I don't know what does. Until next time, bye.
