Heba's POV
I just listened through the door as my little brother confided in my husband. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, how was this even possible? Yugi was not only raped, but impregnated by some thugs whom still are probably wondering the the streets. And to make matters worse, some other douche bags killed the baby that my brother was carrying.
I started to back away from the wall, when I heard a voice that paralyzed me with anger and fear. I turned and saw that the voice belonged to Yami, I was getting ready to punch him when the bathroom door opened. Out came Atem, and he pulled Yami's ear as he led him down the stairs of the game shop.
"Yugi?" I asked knocking on the door.
I heard whimpering come from the other side and threw the door open. I saw my brother sitting there with tears streaming down his face as he looked up startled.
"Oh Yugi, why didn't you tell me any of this?" I asked walking over to him.
"Because it was hard convincing myself to admit everything that had happened to me had actually happened" Yugi sobbed.
I just wrapped my arms around him and pulled him close to me. Yugi must be the strongest man in the world. Sure he might not have the biggest biceps, or do fifty sit up a day. But if anyone else would've gone through what my brother has, they would've tried to end it a lot sooner.
"Yugi, let's go see a movie" I said jumping to my feet.
"Huh?" He asked.
"I want to help cheer you up a little. You pick the movie, and we will go see it" I said extending my hand.
"Well there is a new movie about a murderer proving his point to his psychiatrist" Yugi said thoughtfully.
"Then let's go" I said grabbing his hand and dragging him with me.
Yugi had gotten to his feet and was now keeping up with me as we raced to the car. I jumped into the driver's seat as he got into the passenger seat. He was laughing at how childish we were, while I enjoyed his laughter. I realized that I hadn't heard that beautiful laugh in way too long.
We laughed the whole way to the theater and stopped once we inside to breathe. I asked Yugi which movie it was and he pointed to a poster that said "Kill Theory". I agreed and paid for the tickets, popcorn, candy, and soda. We walked into the room and found that it was mostly empty, so we sat toward the back.
The movie started not too long after we sat down, and it started like every typical horror flick. A bunch of teenagers go to a secluded spot, to do whatever they please, with no adult supervision.
But it got interesting as I saw the body of the first victim fly through a window onto her boyfriend's sleeping body. Her neck was sliced open and a tape that was taped to her body showed her murder. It announced that each person except one, would be dead by sunrise the next morning. But if there was more than 1, they all died.
The movie continued with selfish teens killing/sacraficing each other to save themselves. There were the final three in the basement that I was hoping would survive, but one girl killed a prettier one because she was jealous, and the guy killed himself. The murderer comes down the stairs and sees that one of them is left alive. She walks away from the whole scene alive and has a dead look in her eyes.
That look she had reminded me of Yugi's earlier. He looked like he had lost his will to live, and that he welcomed death. It is hard to see your younger brother like that, especially when you know there is barely anything you can do.
"Did you enjoy it?" I asked looking beside me.
"Yeah, it was kind of messed up, but cool still" Yugi said with a smile.
"Yeah, I guess it was. What do you want to do now?" I asked as we walked out of the doors.
"Ummmm. I kind of want to go home" Yugi said.
"Oh fine. But someone will be with you or very nearby at all times" I said as we walked toward our car.
"Oh fine. But I better be able to use the bathroom by myself" Yugi said as we reached it.
I just laughed as I climbed into my seat. I started the car and started to head back to the game shop. It started to rain a little, but I didn't think anything of it.
"Heba....... That night, it was like this one" Yugi whimpered from beside me.
"Yugi..... I....."
I never got to finish. Lightning crashed next to us, and it scared the both of us. I swerved as a reaction, and the car wouldn't stop on the wet road. The car went off the road, and into a roadside ditch.
Yugi's screams were the most awful things I have ever heard. The last thing I saw was Yugi's eyes filled with fear. Those pure, innocent, amethyst eyes were full of nothing but terror. We smashed into the ditch and I hit my head on the airbag so hard, i lost consciousness.
It felt like I was awake, the world didn't seem any different, except that everywhere I looked, I saw Yugi's horrified face. I would turn from one direction to another, and the same expression would be there. I just wanted it all to end, amd to make it worse, they eventually started shouting my name.
"Heba, come back Heba!"
"No! I just want this to end!" I shouted.
"Please come back to me Heba" I realized this voice. It wasn't Yugi's, it was Atemu's.
I tried with all my might to force my eyes open, and eventually they slid open and I saw my husband leaning over me with tears in his eyes.
"Heba! You came back" he shouted wrapping his arms around me.
Author's Note: This chapter was sort of a difficult one to write, but I eventually found the direction I wanted to go in. Until next time, bye.
