" Calm yer tits young man"
A voice-
In the brightness-I blink my eyes open
Everything is a pure white,so bright is almost a sound and there's a voice out there, and I feel so groggy and there's a pain in my jaw, possibly broken along with a pounding headache.
It's so bright I can't think straig-
Wait...
WAITWasn't I walking in the garden and got shot?
Ah... right, that she-devil left me in the forest to die."Am I in heaven? Did I finally die?" I ask, my voice a rasp full of spit and cotton , but I run at it as hard as I can, forcing it out into the bright lights blinding my eyes.
" Where am I!"
" I said to calm yerself!"
Shouted an unrecognisable voice, a voice of a young woman-" Who the hell are you?" I ask, trying to sit up, painfully tight metal restraints binding me to a bed.
" To answer your question, you're in a research lab, your new forever home."
The voice says as the shapes start to come together, the brightness separates into lesser brightness.
My new forever home? A lab? I don't recall being an alien. I'm just an average boy with a less than average life.
" But I do suggest you keep that foul mouth of yours shut, or there will be blood shed"
says another voice, a man this time, a lot older than the first, off to my right.I keep on blinking and my surroundings gradually became clearer.
High tech scientific equipment that looked like it cane straight from a sci fi movie is lying around the room.
I feel like I am a test subject of a mad scientist, or am I?
The giant sliding door opened with a metallic click, an old man dressed in a white lab coat entered the room.
He is wearing a huge scowl on his heavily scarred face, looking like the fruits of a chaotic science experiment.
A vile of dangerously bubbling neon green liquid is carried by a young woman next to him, her dull jaded eyes looking at him with fear and uncertainty.
" Test subject 069's vitals are stable, he is ready for testing" The woman on my right stated in a monotonous voice, standing there as still as log waiting for orders.
" very well Minsoo, you are excused" he said in a gruff voice, ushering her towrds the door.
Without another word, she ran towards the door with a relieved expression, looking like she has been pardoned from her execution.
He then menacingly stepped towards me, his eyes scanning every inch of my skin with his assistant beside him.
His piercing gaze instense enough to burn holes into me. But I'm too paralyzed in angst to even be bothered by him.
After a little contemplation,he pulled out a big syringe from his pocket, pouring in the neon liquid.
" Now this will pinch just a little" He sneered at me as he injected the liquid into my arm.
To say that It is excruciating would be an illegal understatement, it felt like repetitive stabs was happening in my left arm or a huge metal rod was being stuck up my veins.
It hurt so much that a few minutes after he administratored the injection my head felt like it was being cracked open like a nut, my body feeling like every bone was being crushed.
Before this torture could escalate any further it gradually ebbed away, along with my conciousness....
I jerked up the cold solid metal floor, a loud bang followed by a roar of some beast waking me.
I was instantly sent down by the pain in my entire body rampiy up with every movement, searing my every muscle, blinding agony faster than I could blink.
And, just when the pain was at its worst, it dissipated, like fog off some terrible lake.
As I was removing my hands from my face, I finally took notice of them.
The sight of them was nearly enough to knock me out a second time.
