The large group made their way onto the island through a magical bridge Lucinda gratefully created. Everyone seemed to sort of drift in different directions and kept to themselves if not almost isolating each other. Some chose to stay located in the boat whilst the others went exploring or sat on the small beach, which leads us to the adventure about to commence.

"I'm just saying, Mister Laurence, if the beautiful pixie is not betrothed at such a young age then do pixies have different customs to other magical beings?" Chad had managed to begin an argument with Laurence in which he was terribly losing, but sharing his views on magical cultures nonetheless. Laurence had seemed a bit aggravated with Chads unfiltered comments on Sage, but somehow kept quiet with just a slight grimace showing.

Sage had just wandered off deep into the woods before anyone had come across the idea of exploring, for some reason she felt almost compelled towards the heart of the forest in front of her. If only the forest could read her thoughts like she was doing to the latter..

"Has anyone seen Sage recently?" A panicked Katelyn asked the group, she seemed to have an etch of worry in her tone.  After a few minutes of silenced murmurs, Lucinda carefully stood from her place in the sand and began twiddling her fingers nervously, almost as if she was struggling to do something.

"The last time anyone saw Sage was when she ran off into the woods about three hours ago. I can't say much for the others, but I feel a calling from the woods. It's as if it wants me to go in there." She managed to say, Vylad walking over from his space by a tree and nodding with Lucinda's words.

"I feel it too, I wasn't sure if it was just a shadow knight thing like another calling to the Nether, but now I believe it has something to do with this island. There's a strong magick here." He spoke, sincerity lacing his words. Laurence nodded before numbly agreeing with the theory. He must have felt it too.

Although, Laurence seemed to have an unspoken idea. He carefully glared over at Chad, as if there was a bottled anger towards the crazed man. Chad didn't notice this, simply because he was investigating a particularly pointy bush. Vylad noticed Laurences stares though, and seemed to know exactly what Laurence was thinking.

"Laurence, no-" Vylad tried butting in but Laurence hastily interrupted him.
"Chad, you haven't seen Sage, have you? Or are you just hiding her so you can continue your silly and pointless little experiments?" Laurence questioned through partially gritted teeth, his ears practically blowing steam. Chad looked up from the bush, unaware of the recent events. He shook his head no, standing up and almost feigning an offended look.

"I can assure you, Mister Laurence, I haven't seen the beautiful essence of magic since she ran off into these extraordinary woods!" He practically shouted, Chad seemed to become more nervous as the glares increased.

Lucinda went over to Chad and began asking him about his experiments as if to distract him from the situation whilst Vylad and Katelyn took Laurence to a corner and calmed him down a bit. They needed to put the Shadow away as much as they could.

After a while, everyone began wandering off to their beds back on the ship, all except three.

I couldn't get back to the beach, the forest had pulled me in so much. I was begging for it to let me go, but it didn't budge. The trees wouldn't be quiet, all I could hear was laughing, they were laughing at me.

"Please stop. Please." All I could do was beg. Beg.
They wouldn't leave me alone, I just wanted to be alone. I wanted to go home, to be with my new friends. To be safe.

"Please.." It was all I could say. All I could do. I was helpless.

Laurence, Katelyn, and Vylad had quietly set off into the woods in search of Sage, she'd been gone about five hours now, and it had begun worrying them.

Vylad had taken the job of leaving a trail so they wouldn't be lost, with Katelyn in front with a torch, and Laurence roughly in the middle holding a makeshift map of the island that Travis managed to quickly draw up.

"Left, then straight ahead." Laurence ordered, he was given the direction job along with the handy map.

"Y'know, just because you were tasked with directions it doesn't mean you can sound so serious." Katelyn scoffed playfully, she seemed to having fun with Laurences irritation. Vylad stifled a giggle at the comment, he'd been giggling quietly at Laurences pouting since they set off into the woods.
