When they got back to their apartment, Taehyung immediately went to his room, leaving Jin to do whatever Jin does. Hoseok still wasn't back yet, so he couldn't grill him on how and why exactly he gave Jungkook his number.
Taehyung shut the door behind him and sank onto his bed, phone in hand.
Maybe: Jungkook
11:39am: Yes.
What was he supposed to say to that? They hadn't talked in three years and they didn't exactly end on good terms. In fact, if Taehyung remembered correctly, Jungkook up and left him with only a note.
Taehyung suddenly remembered that he should be pissed.
Taehyung
12:47pm: interesting. you don't really get to miss me.
Maybe: Jungkook
12:48pm: I know... I'd like to talk sometime if you'd be willing.
Taehyung stared at the screen. Was he willing to talk to Jungkook? He's not sure how he'd react if he ever saw him again. He can barely stand to look at Jungkook's posters and billboards. How was he going to face him in real life?
Taehyung was pissed. Jungkook ruined him for years. Joshua is the first person he's actually allowed himself to date since Jungkook, and he only met Joshua four months ago. He was finally moving on. His therapist would hit him over the head if he saw Jungkook.
So, Taehyung took a deep breath and ignored the ache in his chest as he hit send.
Taehyung
12:52pm: no.
