"I'm not going."
"Taehyung." Jin rolled his eyes. He was digging through Taehyung's closet and throwing different suits and sweaters onto the bed.
"I'm not. I refuse."
"You don't have to talk to him. You do, however, have to support your friend." Jin studied a pink sweater with flowers on it before putting it back. "What vibe should we go for? Since it's your first time seeing Kook in three years, I think you should dress hot. Like villain hot."
"There's no vibe because I'm not going." Taehyung crossed his arms over his chest.
"I'm thinking black on black." Jin pulled out a black turtleneck. He held it out to Taehyung. "I'm thinking this and a dark suit."
"I'm not going, Jin."
Jin dropped the turtleneck on the bed and groaned. "Listen, Tae, I know this is going to suck for you, but you're not the only one, okay? I haven't seen Namjoon since our divorce and you know he's going to be there. You know how messy our divorce was. This isn't easy, but I'm going to support Hoseok. You really want to be the guy who doesn't go?"
Taehyung looked at Jin and sighed. No, he didn't want to be that guy. This situation was 10 times harder for Jin, yet Jin seemed put together and almost excited to go.
Maybe he didn't even have to talk to Jungkook. Jungkook's team rented out a penthouse in the city. Penthouses were big. Maybe he'd find a closet and sit in there the whole night. He could use some alone time.
"Fine, I'll go."
"Perfect! Now put this on." Jin tossed the turtleneck at Taehyung. "Go with the charcoal suit. Michael will be here in twenty to do hair and makeup."
Taehyung put his face in his hands and groaned.
