An hour later, they were all sitting around a circular table outside, breakfast foods and mimosas in front of them.
"I like how you weren't afraid to talk about how you used to work at Barnes and Noble." Jimin said, stuffing a piece of waffle in his mouth. "Very humble."
"That's our boy, always remembering where he came from." Jin reached forward and ruffled Taehyung's hair. Taehyung batted his hand away but grinned. He tried ignoring the sound of a camera shutter going off.
"I worked there for over a year." Taehyung shrugged. "I feel like that's memorable enough to talk about. I don't know. Maybe people will find it boring."
"No," Yoongi sat forward. "It makes you seem human, Tae. People are going to read that and think, 'Wow, I could do that.'"
"Most people don't look like Taehyung, though," Jin said under his breath jokingly. Taehyung swatted his shoulder.
They were all laughing when the text chime of Taehyung's phone went off. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone.
He had been getting texts and calls all morning from his family and people who acted like they were friends with Taehyung.
He glanced at the first few names and the previews of texts.
