Seijuro stepped out of the car, holding the door open for a certain someone. He extended his unused hand forward as if he was trying to grab something, and there that something was. A delicate hand reached for Seijuro's without hesitation, and she slowly stepped out of the car.
There standing was a beautiful girl, her flowing red hair reaching up to her waist. She turned to face Seijuro, a smile planted on her face. The boy was unphased by her beauty.
"Let's get going Sei-Chan!"
...
Yamiku Akashi was watching from the 2nd floor of the building. Most of the players seemed to be lacking, so it wasn't that interesting. It was when the players started getting assigned to strings that it started getting exciting.
"In the first string, we have Seijuro Akashi, Daiki Aoimine, Shintaro Midorima, Atsushi Murisakibara, and Shogo Haizaki."
...
All the other players in the room looked shocked. Nobody had ever gotten onto Teiko's first string on their first try. But, Yamiku expected this; well, from her brother Seijuro. She wasn't expecting other first-years to make it on the team. This team may be more interesting than she thought.
Yamiku quickly hurried down the stairs, running up to her brother and stopping in front of him. "Commemorable work Sei-Chan! But you'll have to put on a better display than that if you want to beat me." She laughed, lifting her hand in front of him. Seijuro scanned his surroundings, then sighed quietly. He lifted his hand and made contact with hers.
Yamiku smiled at Seijuro, then looked behind him to see the other first-years. Her eyes widened as she realized their potential. From far away, she couldn't feel it, but these 4 were radiating talent. Though Aoimine, Midorima, and Murisakibara shined more than Haizaki.
"You've got a nice team, Sei-Chan. Let's hope that the Girl's Basketball team shows the same potential."
..
"What? There's seriously no Girl's Basketball team?!"
"I'm sorry, but it seems that you will not be playing basketball in Junior High. Good luck in High School, though." The advisor said, walking away from Yamiku.
"Wait! Please, there has to be something you can do-"
"Stop." A familiar voice said, making the basketball advisor stop right in his tracks."Seijuro Akashi, what do you need?" He asked, his tone a little more polite than when he was talking to Yamiku. She scoffed, crossing her arms and rolling her eyes.
Seijuro gave the advisor a slight smile, then spoke. "Sir, I must ask that you allow my sister to join the team. If you don't comply, there will be consequences." The advisor was shaken. Not by his words, but rather by Seijuro's tone. Seijuro sounded more demanding than anything.
The advisor looked back at Yamiku, who had a smug grin on her face. She walked towards the two, lifting her hand in the air and Seijuro did the same. She high-fived him, stopping in her tracks once she was a couple of steps away from him.
"I look forward to seeing you during practice!" She said, waving at the advisor before running off to the courtyard. She would of course have to wait for Seijuro, but she decided that she would get a snack from the vending machine first.
"No way! Do they have spicy rice crackers? Don't mind if I do!" Yamiku grinned. She pressed the button located underneath the delicious snack, she grabbed her wallet, but then realized she didn't have it on her.
