"Are you guys on a date...?"
Yamiku Akashi strolled into the hallway with her hands folded neatly in front of her. She stopped in front of a third-year classroom, taking a deep breath before sliding the door open. She approached her coach's desk, gently getting her attention by tapping on her desk lightly. "Greetings, Coach Aida. I'm here about the team membership form." She offered a gentle smile. In front of all of these people, her senpais no less, she had to keep up appearances.
Yamiku heard her coach sigh before pulling out a paper from the compartment on her desk. "You too..?" She heard her mutter. "Oh well, here you go. This form will only be accepted on the roof at 8:40 on Monday. Make sure to be there!" Yamiku raised an eyebrow out of suspicion, but she decided to just shrug it off. She thanked Aida and left the classroom with the form in hand.

Kagami roamed the hallway, making his way to the cafeteria when he saw a newspaper posted on a billboard. It was something about the "Kanto Tournament Debut."
"I guess they weren't kidding..." Kagami muttered under his breath, taking a moment to skim over the article until a familiar voice was heard next to him. Before they knew it, Kagami ended up yelling at Kuroko. His lack of presence caught Kagami off guard. Kuroko tried to quiet him down and point out that they were just outside a library, but instead of quieting down, Kagami grabbed a fistful of Kuroko's hair and held up a fist. He was about to say something before someone interrupted them.
"Taiga, I would appreciate it if you released our future teammate." Yamiku butted in. She pushed a fist against his chest, which was enough to get him to step back. "What are you two waffling about in front of the library?" She questioned, eyeing the both of them. She heard Kuroko behind her muttering something but chose to ignore it. She glared at Kagami before grabbing Kuroko and dragging him away while the redhead was deep in thought. She pulled him around the corner of the hall and up the stairs.
She pulled him into an empty classroom and shut the door behind her gently. She leaned against it, keeping a cold gaze on Kuroko as he stared at her. He looked like he wanted to say something, but he kept his mouth shut. "Tetsuya, pick and choose your battles wisely; I won't be around all the time to pick up your slack." She spoke harshly. She could see a frown forming on the boy's face, so she stopped, knowing that she would go too far otherwise.
She took in a deep breath, closing her eyes and trying to maintain herself before offering a gentle, yet cold smile to Kuroko. "I'll see you later, Tetsuya." Yamiku made her way out of the room, shutting the door gently behind her so Kuroko wouldn't be able to see which direction she was headed in.
Once the school day was over, she walked about a block away from the school before making a turn, hopping into the familiar limousine. She said hello to her driver before stepping into the backseat. "Thank you, sir." She spoke before leaving the car and walking toward her penthouse. She had decided to live away from home for a while since she had no reason to be home right now. Her brother was all the way in Kyoto, and she definitely didn't want to be around her father all the time. She was struggling a bit without the maids to help her around, but she still received a hefty check from her father every month for her living situation, so she was able to live a more than comfortable life.
After completing her basic tasks such as bathing and eating, she sat down in her king-sized bed. She picked up her phone from her nightstand and found the name "Sei-Chan" listed in her contacts. She quickly pressed the call button and held the phone to her ear.
