Dear Diary...

Chapter 6

   I wake up with the blinding sun shining in my eyes. I really should get some curtains...I roll over to check my phone and see a text from Landon.

Landon: Hey ill pick you up at 10am. Wear something comfortable. <3

I blush as I take special notice to the heart at the end of his message. I yawn and look at the time to see its 9:15...

9:15!!!!!

"FUCK" I quickly get up and run to the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair.

   "Bitch do you know how early it...wtf are you doing?" Lux asks obviously hearing my scream of profanity.

   "Landon is picking me up at 10...TEN!!! It is 9:15 and he told me to dress comfortable...wtf does that even mean Lux?!?!?" I say with my mouth full of tooth paste as I lean down and spit in the sink.

   "I think it means dress comfortable..." I give her a look of death before returning to my very rushed morning routine.

   "Okay listen, I'll quickly curl your hair to make it look like you've woken up with perfect beach curls. You do some light makeup and I got you on the outfit. We now have 40 minuets so start." We both rush around the bathroom and room to get everything we need and she starts curling my hair.

    "God I love you!" I say looking in the mirror. She picked a stylish yet simple white crop top with a holy version of mom jeans and some simple flip flops. My hair is in beautiful beach curls but don't look like any heat has touched my hair. I topped it off with simple concealer and mascara to add a slight pop to my eyes.

   "I know you do. And you still have 5 minuets to spare." She says with a smirk on her face while observing her work. We hear a knock at the door as we both look at each other and sprint to the door in a race.

I trip her on the way and karma hits me instantly as I practically fall into the door. It had to have sounded like a bomb went off with how hard I hit the door and how thin these walls are. I open the door with excitement just to be disappointed when I see Shaggy's face.

   "Oh... it's for you" I say to Lux as I walk into the kitchen and sit at the island.

"Wow...sorry to disappoint..." He says walking to Lux who is now just sitting on the floor where she fell looking up at Shaggy with a smile on her face.

   "Nah shes just waiting for your roommate. They have a date." She says in a mocking tone.

   "Ahhhh yes I was wondering why he was scrambling to collecting things and rushing out the door this morning." Collecting things?

   "Ya know if you could not talk about what I do in my home environment before going out with a beautiful girl that would be dandy." I hear a familiar voice at my front door and immediately perk up.

I see his beautiful blue eyes looking right at Shaggy. He cowers under his glare and sits on the floor right next to Lux.

   "I'm sorry princess I was in a rush and only horse I could get today was my mustang." he says and kisses me on the forehead

   "That's okay maybe next time I'll get my magical horse." I laugh as we walk out the door

The phone repair store said we had an hour to wait so we walked into a local coffee shop. "I'll get a Carmel Macchiato with extra Carmel. what would you like princess?" He asks looking down at me ignoring the ginger haired beautiful barista, glaring at me when he called me princess.

   "I'll take the same." I state with a petty smirk. Landon pays and we sit down to wait for our coffee.

   "A little jealous back there huh?" He asks with a knowing look.

   "Well she should be...I'm a princess." I say with a cheesy smile.

   "So...can we talk about what Kaitlyn said the other night?" I ask moving my hair out of my face slowly. Landon immediately stiffens.

   "Do we have to?" I look down about to press more due to my curiosity when his name is called to grab our coffee. He stands quickly obviously trying to avoid the conversation at hand and hands me my coffee.

   "Lets go check on your phone. I have one more surprise." He grabs my hand a looks at me with those beautiful blue orbs and I melt. All of my doubts and curiosity suddenly washing away with his ocean eyes.

We pull up to what looks like a  hiking trail and he turns off his mustang and immediately goes to my side and opens my door letting me out. "Uhhhh I dont think I have the proper shoes for a hike." I say as I look down at my flip flops. He laughs at my worried face.

   "Just trust me." He says and walks to the trunk of his car and grabs a blanket. He takes my hand and we begin walking down the dirt trail.

As we walk I notice a lake in between the trees. Suddenly Landon lets go of my hand and looks around before crawling under a fence to our right. I hesitate before following and he leads me through some trees before stopping at a dirt slab going right to the edge of the lake. He lays down a blanket and I stare at him in awe.

   "This is beautiful Landon how did you find this place?" I ask looking at the lake then back at him.

   "A Lot of alcohol at a frat house and a game of truth or dare." He laughs and winces at the memory.

For hours we sat and talked. I don't think he even realized how long it has been until we both saw the sun start to go down.

   "Damn how long have we been here?" He asks looking down at his phone and realizing it is dead.

   "Honestly I have no idea but I could stay here forever" I smile and look into his eyes.

   "Thank you for bringing me here Landon, its beautiful." He smiles.

"Maybe this can be our place." My eyes move from his eyes to his lips and he starts to lean in. Our lips connect and quickly it starts getting heated before I know it I'm laying down and he is hovering over me. I reach down and start to play with the hem of his shirt trying to take it off as fast as possible.
