As the younger ones retreated to their respective rooms. I stayed at the kitchen and made some coffee.

"Hyung, why didn't you tell them?"

I turned around and saw Kai with his night robes and fluffy slippers.

"Kai, you know I can't do that."

"Hyung! You're dying! They deserve to know! Don't you even care how they might feel when you're already.. dead?"

I stared at him. He was crying, the last thing that I would like to see from Kai.

I hugged him as his tears fell making my shirt wet.

"H-hyung, I don't w-want you g-gone."

He cried like how he cried years ago when he found out about it. And it breaks my heart seeing him like that.

"Shhhh. Jongiiee-ah. Don't cry. Hyung would always be with you. Hyung would always protect you. Hyung would always love you."

"Now, your Soo is waiting for you. Go upstairs. Make this night memorable."

He blushed as I winked at him. He slapped my shoulders then he gave me a hug.

"Woomin hyung, I promise to be there by your side, even at the last moments. I love you, hyung."

He gave me a peck on the cheeks and started to run upstairs. I laughed at his rare loving side.

After finishing my coffee, I went to the rooftop. If this would be the last vacation that I'll ever have, I better make it as memorable as possible.

I sat at the roofs edge, looking at the stars. They look beautiful tonight.

"Can't sleep? "

I turned around and saw Lu Han. My heart skipped a beat, scaring me, as I saw him with summer shorts and a plain white shirt.

"Yeah. Guess so."

He sat beside me and looked at the stars. I just stared at him.

"Beautiful, isn't it?"

"Yeah."

And he returned my stare.

"Very."

I looked away as I felt the redness rising to my cheeks.

"Xiumin?"

"Hmm?"

"I love looking at the stars .. with you."

"Yeah. Me, too."

"Let's do this, always and forever."

I was taken aback by what he said. My heart skipped another beat. My cheeks flushed another batch of redness.

Always and forever? I won't live that long. But I can't tell him that.

"Sure."

He rested his head on my shoulders. I realized that he was already asleep when he started snoring lightly.

I carried him to his room and carefully tucked him in his blankets. I observed his facial features. Beautiful eyes. Long perfect nose. Soft plump lips. A small beautiful face. An epitome of perfection.

I kissed his forehead and bade him good night. Before I walked out of his room, I spilled the secret that I've always wanted to tell.

"I love you, Hannie."
