LILIANNA'S POV

"What is this place?" I fold my arms around myself and immediately regret leaving my coat in the car.

"An abandoned warehouse." Mesha shrugs casually and skips ahead of us a little.

"Why are we here? Won't we get in trouble?" The concrete building is huge with vast open roller doors and a few broken windows.

"Nah, the place hasn't been used for years. We come here all the time and noone's bothered us." Curby answers, looking over his shoulder at me.

"Come here for what?" I glance at Seven who hasn't said a thing so far since holding the chained metal gate wide enough for me to slip through while following Mesha and Curby onto the premises.

"To shoot." Mesha spins right around and walks backwards as she answers me. Her perfect teeth on display as she grins wildly at me.

"Shoot?!" I immediately begin to panic. Is ... Is she talking about drugs?! Oh fuck.

"Yeah, Curby lets me shoot his gun in here." Mesha claps her hands in excitement and turns back around as she enters the dark building. Not drugs, guns. It's better than doing drugs but I still don't think this is a good idea.

"Only if she asks nicely." Curby jokes and follows her in. I stall in the entrance, a little uneasy about the new events of tonight. Seven's hand brushes my bare shoulder, warm and calming.

"You okay?" He asks, finally speaking to me since we left the Tavern in seperate cars. I opted to ride with Mesha, unsure if Seven would want my company.

"Yeah. Yeah." I nod, in an attempt to convince myself more than him. His hand drops from my shoulder, he steps to the side and gestures for me to go ahead of him. With a tight lipped smile, I nod once and follow in after Mesha and Curby.

The building smells of the damp decay only an abandoned building permeates. The open roller doors allow the natural moon light from the night sky into the building, illuminating the vast open empty space. A few old oil barrels are stacked to one side, along with piles of wooden pallets I assume were used when the building was in operation. Over by the far wall at the very end of the building is a makeshift shelf using some of the old pallets. Rusty old cans crushed and bent in odd ways are lined up along the shelf. I can see the small black holes in a few of them, bullet holes.

I watch as Curby retrieves a hand gun from the side of his jacket, tucked away in concealment. He hands the pistol to Mesha who takes the weapon from him with an ease of familiarity before holding it at arms length, aiming for the cans. She shoots quickly three times, the sounds causing my body to jump in shock from how loud it is. Two of the cans fly off the shelf, while the third shot lodges itself into the back wall.

"You're getting better." Curby praises as Mesha turns to smile proudly at the three of us.

"Lily have a turn!" Mesha offers me the gun.
