-Charity Blake-

Charity held as tightly as she could to the angel of the Emperor as they moved at high speeds. She could feel every thundering footstep, every each shattering leap, and finally the slowing and gentle movement as they came to a stop.

Charity let her eyes crack open the Slightest bit, just enough to see that the angel had brought her to the southern outskirts of the village. Along the border were the village turned into farm land she could see a trench full of people in scary masks, firing weapons towards the monsters, it was near this trench that the angel walked.

Kneeling down the Goliath savor effortless lifted the shattered remains of what might have been a vehicle.

"Stay her small one, you will be safe, I shall return when I can."

The angel's message was simple and direct, it was delivered with the confidence that made Charity want to believe her.

She patted the child's head lightly before dragging the wreckage of the vehicle back over the child's hiding spot, it almost felt like Charity was being trapped in a tomb.

Charity would normally fear the darkness that enveloped her now but in this instance she felt calm, the angel would return to her and take her away to a place she could be happy.

Hope is such a funny thing, sometimes it can make someone forget what they are, make them believe things can be different, it's tragic really how rare those things truly are.

Natolva
--------------

Natolva stood and surveyed the battlefield, as her gaze shifted she found one of the gaurdsmen staring at her. The solider face was obscured by the black gas mask that hid their emotions quite well, what surprised Natolva was how this particular guardsman seemed to unintentionally avoid the slugs and hellfire that flew around them.

Natolva felt an odd admiration as the solider affixed a new Bayonet to their lasgun and lept out of the trench to charge firing into the ork line. The gaurd moved like a wraith as they moved up, bringing them to stand next to the space marine.

"Well fought gaurdsman, you fight with much bravery," Natolva said with a smile as she fired her bolter into the orks.

The gaurd couldn't answer as they were currently slamming the but of her riffle repeatedly into an ork sqib, pounding it into a paste.

Natolva's grin widened as she blasted an orkz brain into a cloud of mist, "what is your name gaurdsman? If you survive this battle I will have to speak with you again, I believe you to be a capable warrior for our order."

"Gamma 239- Barrett Nachtnebel," The gaurd spoke quickly as they shot through the aggressive fungus that was storming up the way, between the solider thick accent and filtered voices it was hard for Natolva to tell if Barrett was a man or a woman but that mattered little now.

Thanks to the space marine intervention the battle had rapidly began to shift, moral rocketed and all troops fought with renewed vigor.

"WAAAAAAGH! YUZ TINK SUM FANCY SPACE MARINE GITZ CAN SAVE YA?! HA HA HA, I'LL RIP YA SPINE OUTTA YER GUTZ, SO LONG AS MY NAME IS GAZSMAK SHAGLOINK! WAAAAAGH!"

A thundering ork voice washed over the battlefield as a monstrous form began to rise above the hill on the other side of the village.

Natolva locked her gaze on the ork warboss, a large bastard to be sure, maybe six meters in hight.

Despite this undeniable threat of this xenos, she was smiling. She smiled for one specific reason, it had begun to rain.

All of the Storm sisters that could looked to the sky and began to laugh, after they laughed they began to pound on their chest plate in unison.

Accompanying the marines pounding and chanting was the sound of drums that began to Thunder from the enormous ship that hung in the sky.

Lightning arched across the sky in forks of blazing light, illuminating the field of death that lay Bellow.

One particularly large bolt of lighting arched down and struck at the front of the line, instantly disintegrating all of the orkz in the area.

From where Natolva stood she could see the massive steaming form of that now kneeled in the remnants of of the lightning strike, two massive wings unfurled from the back with a smaller pair below them.

Shining with a glorious glow she stood and spread her arms as if stretching out a kink in her neck.

"My turn," the giant woman said in a voice that was a sort of thunderous whisper.

Natolva smiled with pride at what she was about to witness, "our fair lady has graced us with her presence!" She looked down to the gaurd who has also been caught in awe, "enjoy the show, this will be quite spectacular."

She knew what would happen next and always loved to see the primarch in action, the lady of lightning, the storm monarch, Aureus Fulgur never failed to amaze.
