The mess with time travel: The meltdown

The last mammoth

We were making our way towards the direction of everyone else to trying to migrate, and people, people meaning animals were making comments about Manny being the last of his kind and going extinct, and Sid was only making things worse, since he was singing songs about it, as we traveled, putting Manny in a bad mood. But then the realization him, when he saw his reflection in some melting icicles, and only saw himself, Sid tried to make things sound better, but he wasn't doing a good job at it.

He thought he heard another mammoth, but to our disappointment it was a different animal having stomach issues, and Manny was once again disappointed. For a sec he had hope, but it was gone as fast as it came. And while Manny wanted to be alone, we all ran off like asked of us and ran into a couple of possums, and a bunch of holes. They were shooting stuff at us, and soon it was like the game twister.

However as soon as we were defeated and fell on top of each other, the two idiots teased us, and Diego and growled and ran after them, we were planning on eating them, they were nothing but trouble. While we were there, Manny had been walking by a tree and another mammoth named Ellie fell out of the tree. But the thing was she had no idea she was a mammoth, even though she looked just like Manny.

She was very confused. So, you were in the tree because? He questioned, she said she was looking for her brothers that they were always getting into trouble. Manny's hopes and dreams of excitement were confused with her lack of her realization that she thought she was just one big possum. He thought she meant there were more mammoths. He was mistaken. Because she was talking about her brothers Crash and Eddie who Diego and I were chasing down to try and eat.

Hey, save one for me! I called running after him. Then move faster he teased not taking his eyes off of his prey. I rolled my eyes and ran faster. They were screaming for help trying to get away from us, and take shelter with Ellie, to protect them. When Sid mentioned to Manny he was surprised that he met another mammoth, Ellie was confused, and we just looked at her like she was crazy, as she declared to us all that she was a possum just like her brothers, but we thought it was just a joke.

The next min Sid was inviting Ellie and her brothers to join us and everyone had their objections. Come on maybe Sid's right, after all it would be nice having another girl around. Wait? Ellie said turning to me.... I'm sorry, you were in the back behind the other guys, I didn't realize you were there, you should've spoken up. Hi I'm Farrah I'm Diego's brother. I could only imagine you two look so much a like.

Ok, well then we're in an agreement, thanks to Sid we'll be travel together like one big happy family whether we like it or not. This will be great, it will be so nice having another girl in the group. We're gonna act like one big happy.... Family I finished frowning. Something bugging ya kiddo? Ellie asked me while she and her brothers walked behind the rest of the group, Diego just feet away ahead of me.

Huh? Um no I'm fine. T: We can be part of a family again, but it won't be the same because our parents aren't around anymore. We were starting to pick up pace and started catching up with the rest of everyone else. You're name is Farrah right? Yes ma'am. You're pretty sweet for a killer. Family is very important to me, but if we weren't working together I could still clobber you in one frail swoop.

Don't mistake the sweetness, I'm still a furious killing machine, my brother taught me everything I know. You frowned when you thought about family. You caught that did you? We're playing house on this journey so let's call it mother intuition. Is everything ok? I was very little when Diego and I lost our parents, and our pack turned him into even more than the killer he used to be so sweet and brotherly before he was old enough to join the pack and then our parents died and he changed, and the pack took over and I left for two years he had stopped being the overprotective older brother I grew up with.

Until we got to know each other again. Again? I told her the story of how the pack brothers made our mission to go after a human one of the baby humans from the tribe that killed our parents, and then we met Manny and we had new orders to turn it into an ambush give our pack brothers the baby, and kill Manny, but then we got to know them and get along and how we felt guilty about and that he didn't recognize me before.... Well when he did, of course, you all know the story, or you should otherwise why are you reading the second part?

But since then he's been trying to make up for that lost time, and go back to being the brother he used to be, and I'm glad of that. Want to turn this into some kind of bonding activity? Sure, I smile wagging my tail like a dog jumping around. You're cute she chuckles ruffling my fur with her trunk. We only travel at night, but you all travel everywhere anytime, so you can protect us, but me and my brothers will be hiding and doing camouflage hiding from predators. Where do I come in?

You can join us if you want, but where its survival for us, it can be for fun for you. Ok. Ok, she said pulling down tree branches and leaves. Take this, and follow our lead. The boys went ahead, and Ellie and Crash and Eddie and I were in hiding. And when a hawk came out of nowhere, the boys panicked and played dead. What do I do? You play dead too. She whispered.

We'll never get anywhere at this rate Manny mumbled. What are you doing? He asked her. Playing dead I giggled in a soft tone of voice, he looked up at the hawk and rolled his eyes, and told her it was clear to keep moving. Why are you playing dead? Ellie said I could play camouflage too I cried with joy. Swell he mumbled. Diego nudged me up and we kept going.

But Manny kept trying to convince Ellie that she was also a mammoth and that he wasn't the last of his kind, but Ellie was still confused. He pointed at their footprints, then to their shadows her conclusion was that Manny must've been part possum. But soon we reached a big part of land that was still starting to thin out, and keep melting and Diego and I were being cautious. Manny was trying to encourage us to keep up we were moving so slow.

Soon the ice did start to split off and two giant sea creatures came and attacked us. Eddie and Crash were keeping Ellie awake so that she'd stay alive, but when Sid was in the water and wanted one of us to help him, we didn't move. We dug our claws into the ice and just looked straight on. Sid came up and tried to pull us into going.

But we wouldn't go anywhere. He had to bite at us to snap us out of our little shock whatever you wanna call it fear shock maybe. And we raced off the to the safe land. From now on new rule land safe water not safe. Need we say more?!
