After that whole mess, Ellie told Manny that was the bravest thing she'd ever seen, but he took it as a complement, she said bravery was just dumb, that maybe this is why all the other mammoths had gone extinct because they keep throwing themselves into danger.

Sid insisted that Manny liked her, and he denied it, then Sid said all our secrets were safe with him. Since he'd came to the conclusion that neither of us could swim, which we also denied. When we were safe again, I saw Ellie and Crash and Eddie break down a couple of logs. Hey, what are you gonna do with those? I ran over asking her.

We're gonna roll down the hill on them, like a race. Can I play? Sure, the more the merrier. She said ruffling my fur with her trunk. Just go find something to get you down the side of the hill with. How about I scrape off the bark on your tree and I turn what's left of it into more like a sled.

Diego you wanna join us? I asked him playfully tugging on his ear motioning him along. Ouch he teased. No thanks you go on ahead. Go have fun. He said nudging me the other direction. Ok, I playfully whined, nudging my head under his chin purring. It just won't be as much fun without you. You'll survive. He chuckled.

Hey you guys wait for me! I called chasing after them doing exactly that. Diego laughed. At some point I was tying with Ellie and her brothers were behind. So you think she's the girl for me? Manny asked Sid. Yeah cause she's tons of fun and you're no fun at all. Sid pointed out, she completes you he said dong a heart shape.

The four us made it down the side of the mountain, and Ellie and I walked along side of each other, but Crash and Eddie were behind, they climbed a tree and Crash asked Manny to pull him back from the branch and shoot him into the pond, after much pointless argument, Manny decided he shouldn't keep fighting and do what he wanted. After asking Crash if he'd done this before he claimed he'd done it a bunch of times and Manny did what he asked, but as he was flying through the air over Ellie and I's heads he crashed into a tree and fell to the ground the other three guys ran up after him.

Once Crash was fixed and Eddie and him ran off, Ellie chased after the two to give them a piece of her mind. When it got late, there we all were walking along. You know she's not half bad, she's kind of crazy and a bit confused but sweet. So? Manny asked Diego. So what's holding you back? Before Manny could answer, I got in the way. You should know a lot about that Diego, you did just go through it.

I pointed out. Not everything is about family. Actually no she's right. Manny told me. Diego everything is about family I purred caressing my cheek against his. Well no one can be like us kid. For two years there was no us, and before then the pack changed you, as did the hunters. You're never gonna stop reminding me that are you?

Nope I said popping the "p" he rolled his eyes. But we're together now, isn't that all that matters? You can't go into the future without remembering the past, and those who forget it are doomed to repeat it, and we can't have that, you're all I have left. I whined nuzzling my head under his chin again. I love you too kid. Not what I said I teased. It's what I know you met.

For killers seeing you two act like this is adorable. Sid commented, before telling Manny he could have it again. Manny looked to us, and back to Sid and picked him up in the tree he was in and tossed him to the side. After he mentioned that if he let Ellie go it was like he was letting his whole species go and that he was just being selfish. When he tossed him away we had to duck before the tree smacked us in the head.

Sid was sure he was getting to him. Ellie started to slow down as Crash and Eddie zoomed by through all the wood, and then she was stuck. Manny offered her help she said she was just catching her breath, then a moment latter admitted she was stuck. He threw the tree branch off of her, as it pushed some of the debris away, making the trees sway and then there was a willow tree, and Ellie mindlessly walked towards it, in a flashback.

Meanwhile everyone else walked ahead moving forward so we could give the two of them some space. Maybe Sid was right.... Yeah can't even say that with a straight face, too bad what Sid said got to him. Boy this was gonna end bad.
