Respect of the dead

On the way out of the area, everyone came running screaming about the end of the world. I lifted an eyebrow, taking a glance at the other gentlemen around me. They also had spectacle looks on their faces. We wanted to know where they heard this load of crap from. But when we heard this con artist of our time Fast Tony was telling everyone this, we went to go give him a piece of our mind.

And then he was pinned under me, and he never saw it coming. Hey, whoa, down tiger, what's this all about? That will do Farrah thank you. Tony why are you scaring everyone with this doomsday stuff? He was talking about the world ending and the everything flooding. And everyone was believing it. But Manny wasn't convinced, since there's always been ice and snow, and that nothing was melting.

Then one of the offensive anteaters comments about Manny being the last mammoth, but he tries not to let it phase him. His was convinced there was more of his kind. That he could never go extinct because he was the biggest thing in the world, but the dinosaurs were gone, but that was a whole different thing all on its own a meteor was part of that downfall.

Then we all looked up to see an idiot about to jump down some ice cliff. And Manny begged that it wasn't our idiot about to jump, but he said he was counting to the 3 and then jumping. And everyone was cheering for him to jump, including Diego and I. Then Manny glared at us, and we slunk back.

We somehow were able to make it all the way up to where Sid was to try and convince him to stop, but he was convinced that he had to do this to gain some respect, but Manny warned him that the only "respect" he was gonna gain was the respect of the dead, in other words he would be. But then we saw that Tony was right, and that the place was melting. We would only have so much time before it would be flooded. And water would be everywhere.

But we were sure Sid wasn't that stupid. But then again we'd all been wrong before. But then there was water everywhere, and once again it was the only thing that Diego and I were afraid of as we jumped onto Manny and dug our claws into him, in horror. When we got back to safe ground, Sid was sure he thought we were afraid of the water. And then we all but tried to clobber him.

As we tried to walk away, I pushed my paw onto Diego's tail before he could get too far. And tugged on his ear. Ouch! He complained. Look. I told him turning to the water. Manny turned to wear I was looking and we decided that Tony was right, and before we could get down safely the ice broke under us, and we fell down the water slide thing of the ice cliff. When we untangled ourselves we tried to warn everyone that Tony was right, and explained to them why.

And to prove it, a vulture came and warned us about a boat at the end of the valley, and we had 3 days to get to it, or that we would die. Once that was settled, we all moved out. Hey? Hey. What's the matter? The flooding. Yeah. I know I have a reason to be afraid, because I almost drowned in it, but why are you afraid? Remember when "Jade" joined us? Yeah?

And we were ice skating? Yeah? Let's get a move on, but keep talking. Remember, how we talked about this back then too? Your reason is my reason. You're afraid because you almost died drowning, but I'm afraid of it because you almost died drowning and that I wouldn't had gotten to you in time, and that I would've lost you. He said rubbing up against me.

Yeah, because the hunters came after us, and you felt the need to protect us, whether you were upset with us all or not. You were all I had. You're all I have too he said purring against me.
