When You're Sick [Marvel]

Tony

Everyone says he would send Happy or someone else to take care of someone who is sick, but I think if you're his child, he's constantly checking on you, despite him being a germaphobe. He's wearing a mask and gloves, but he still brings you medicine and makes sure you eat plenty of food and brings you whatever you want to drink.

He doesn't like to be away from you too much when you're sick, so when he's busy, he likes to convince you to come down to his lab and nap or watch something while he works. If he's on a mission, he routinely checks in, either with you, or someone else who he assigned to take care of you (probably Happy or Pepper).

Natasha

She gets very protective of you when you're sick—she wants to make sure she's there to care for you when you need it. Even if she had previous engagements, she'll watch movies and spend the day with you (she finds it difficult to say no to you). 

She's really good at making sure you take your medicine on time, and eat enough food/drink enough. She also makes sure you get enough rest, and makes sure she's available when you wake up. 

Bruce

He gets you medicine and makes sure you eat and drink plenty. He makes sure you get plenty of rest, and will stop his work early to come watch movies with you to keep you company.  

When you were younger, he would make a space for you to sleep in his lab so that he could keep an eye on you while he worked, then he would carry you up to your room so that you two could watch movies. But you did this less as you got older, so he'd frequently come and check on you to make sure you didn't need anything. 

Steve

He always what kind of food to make you when you're sick. He gets you medicine, and checks in on you frequently.

You two watch movies, and you eventually fall asleep on his lap, but he keeps watching movies because he decides it's a good time to get caught up. 

Loki

(I'm using he/they pronouns for Loki here )

He makes you tea and reads to you until you fall asleep.

At first, they don't really know a lot about illness, but once they find out, he sits there expectantly until you eat/drink/take your medicine, and will not start reading to you again until you do. 

Thor

He stays with you in bed, and cuddles you the whole time. He makes other people get food and medicine for you, and you use him as a pillow the entire time. 

He doesn't really like leaving you when you're sick—he can't get sick, and he hasn't interacted with many people who are sick before, so he kind of freaks out. He asks Bruce an entire load of questions about what to do when someone is sick, which results in Bruce helping to take care of you (even if it's not too serious). 

Even when you're a bit older and know how to take care of yourself when sick a bit better (mostly from what you learned from Bruce and Natasha), he's still very cuddly, and spends all day with you because he wants to make sure you're okay, and don't need anything. 

Stephen

Not exactly his "expertise", but he tells you a bit about what you have (even if it's a common cold because I feel like he still genuinely enjoys having medical knowledge, and sharing it with you). Even when you're younger, he explains the basics to you, and will go more in depth when you're older if you ask. 

Not very good at the whole "bedside manners" thing either, but he brings you your medicine, something to drink, and something to eat. He tells you to rest, and doesn't bother you too much, but he will watch movies with you once he's done working, and let you fall asleep on him. 

Shang Chi

He gets you soup, and pretends to be a doctor to try to get you to laugh & make you feel better. Sometimes, if you're not feeling too bad, he'll perform karaoke for you to try to make you feel better (again). 

You guys ran out of medicine somehow, so he has to ask Katy to get some—which quickly turns in to her picking up a pizza for dinner (even if it's in the morning, she's thinking ahead), and the three of you watch movies together.

Scott Lang

As soon as he finds out you're sick—you're stuck in one spot. If you're in bed, you're staying in bed, if you're on the sofa, you're staying on the sofa. 

He wraps you up in as many blankets as he can find, and brings you things all day. He gets you ice cream (and some healthy foods of course), and he sits with you all day/night watching movies until you both fall asleep.
