Wanda

You Coming Out:

Wanda never used her powers on you unless you were having a bad dream. She could tell there was something bothering you, but she still refrained from reading your mind. She wanted you to trust her enough to tell her what was bothering you on your own time.

To her, it felt like it was taking a while, and she started to have her doubts about you telling her what was going on. She did everything she could to try to make you feel better—taking you out to get ice cream, letting you stay up a little too late to keep watching a show or movie you liked. She would remind you how much she loves you before saying goodnight. She was worried she may have done something to scare you, or that you had done something you were nervous to tell her. She took extra time to make sure she was there for you if you needed her.

Eventually, you did tell her. You were sitting in the car after she had picked you up from school, looking down at your lap, and holding a cone of ice cream in your hand. You had been trying to say something for weeks—but you could never get the words out, or the timing wasn't right.

"Is something wrong?" She asks—noticing you barely touched the dessert.

You shook your head, still looking down at your lap.

"Okay...well you can tell me if something is." She was worried it had something to do with school, and was considering going to the school herself to see if someone there was picking on you, or if you were struggling with some other aspect. She was running through the plans in her head, but they seemed to come to a halt when she heard your voice.

"Actually, I—um...I have been meaning to tell you something."

She nodded. "Okay."

"I...well...sometimes I feel like—like I may not be a girl."

"Oh...so do you think you're a boy? Or neither?"

You answered a few more of her questions—you were still slightly nervous, and she made sure she only asked a few things to clarify like if you used different pronouns, if you wanted her to call you a different name, if you wanted a hair cut, and if anyone else knew. She reassured you several times in the car that she supported you, and is proud of you no matter what.

That weekend, she took you shopping. She also showered you with affection, especially before you went to sleep.

You Being Sick:

No matter how many times Wanda had called you to come down, and that breakfast was ready—you didn't show up. Even if you didn't particularly like school, or mornings, this was unlike you.

You would usually shuffle down the stairs sleepily, and oblige to the morning routine of eating what she made for you. She would ask if you wanted anything specific for lunch, then she would make sure you were able to get ready and out the door on time.

But today, she hadn't even heard you get up, and she was starting to get worried. She makes her way up to your room, and finds you laying in bed.

"Honey, are you okay?" She asks, putting the back of her hand against your forehead.

You shake your head, her hand feeling cool against your hot head.

"Okay, I'll call you in and get you something to make you feel better." She tuts before leaving the room.

She comes back with something light for you to eat, and something she knows you'll drink, as well as medicine. She rubs your back as you down the disgusting liquid, and leaves you alone for a couple of hours while you lay down.
