Damit! My eyes flew open, only to meet the blinding light. I groaned.

"She awake!" A voice shouted. Suddenly I felt a weight on my body.

"URAIH GET OFF OF HER!" Zeke shouted. I sat up, only to come face to face with Uriah.

"I feel like we've been in this position before." I told him. Uriah embraced me In a hug. I shook my head and hugged back.

"Why is it that everything I come here is because you were almost killed?" Zeke asked. Uriah rolled off of me and sat right next to me. I scooted over to make room for him.

"Oi!" Luke entered the room, "I'm starting to think you like this place more than your own apartment." He stated. I rolled my eyes.

"Anything to get away from you." I joked. He playfully scoffed and sat at the edge of the bed.

"So what did happen?" Uriah asked after a moment of silence. I took a deep breath and told them. I started from the parts where Tessa gave me dirty looks all week, to the part where she took a gun. I wondered where she even got that from.
Before I could ask the frequently ask question, Luke beat me too it.

"You were out for a week a, it's 9 in the afternoon ." He told me. I nodded and looked down at the bandage on the right side of my stomach.

"At least you can sit up," Uriah told me sheepishly. Haha...sheepishly. Baaah. I gently fixed my pillow without pulling anything.

"Where's Eric?" I asked them. Zeke smirked.

"We literally had to kick him out yesterday," he informed. I smiled.

"You've slightly changed him...I can see it at least." Luke said.

I smiled while thinking about it. He has changed. He still plays the intimidation card, but still. Underneath it all he's such a sweet person.

"Has the initiates started Stage 2 yet?" I asked, mostly to Uriah. He shook his head.

"Starts tomorrow," he corrected. I nodded.

"Any news about the initiate?" I asked. They all new who I was already talking about.

"Surprisingly, they didn't make her factionless. She claimed that she was under this medicine from abnegation that makes her do kooky stuff." Luke answered as he rolled his eyes,
"Except for Eric, the other believed her."

"You should of seen Eric when he came into our training room!" Uriah interjected, "he looked so pissed off when he told Lauren. The rest of the transfers had to train with us."

I shook my head. That's Eric for you.
The nurse lady finally came in and checked my blood pressure and all that unnecessary business. She said I had to stay over night, even after my objections about how fine i was.

Soon everyone left. After all the infirmary lights went off I laid there motionless. After a while of my mind wandering, I drifted off into a restless sleep...
