As I slowly opened my eyes I realized Y/N was still sound asleep, her arms wrapped around mine.

She looks so cute. I moved some of her hair out of her face gently making sure to not wake her up. A few moments later her eyes fluttered open, looking up at me sleepily she smiled.

"Thank you for letting me stay here with you. You kept me nice and warm too, I don't think I've ever sleep as good as I did last night." She said snuggling closer to me.

"I slept pretty great too, I think we should check and make sure that there are no more critters in your room." I got up waiting for Y/N to follow. We checked all around her room finding nothing, she sighed in relief and thanked me before tending to the mess on her desk.

As I walked out, Levi stood in front of me.

"I need someone from your squad to come and help for the expedition today. One of my cadets has gotten severe injuries and needs to rest. I only need one from your squad."

"Oh well feel free to pick one and take them with you, just make sure they come back in one piece."

He looked behind me then turned his attention back to me.

"I'll take Y/N since I already know what she can do."

"Erm.. couldn't you pick someone else, I kinda need Y/N." Truth was, I didn't need her to do anything today. However, Levi was a little reckless at times and I didn't want to risk Y/N getting hurt.

"I said her, nobody else. Y/N, let's go you'll be joining my squad for the day on an expedition. Get your ODM gear on and let's go."

"Yes Captain."

I watched as Y/N left with Levi, I went back to my room worrying. I'm sure she'll be fine. Hopefully, if anything happens to her I'll have to kick shorty's ass.

Hours had passed and now it was pitch black outside. I hadn't heard anything about Levi's squad coming back yet and assumed they were successfully taking down titans.

All of a sudden I heard multiple voices outside some screaming and others crying. As I listened I found that the expedition was not successful. I paused walking to my door to get a better listen.

"I said get her to the infirmary now. And don't drop her it looks like she has serious injuries and I do not need you to make them worse." I heard Levi's monotonous voice say.

"Yes Captain, right away." Two medics I assume.

"Will she be okay sir?" A girl said, worry present in her tone.

"Yeah, and what will we tell Section Commander Hanji? Y/N is on her squad afterall." A young voice questioned.

"Yes I know. However, four-eyes is gonna have to wait before she can get Y/N up and running."

Y/n...what happened? How did she get hurt and what are her injuries like? I'm gonna kill him.

I waited for what felt like days, but was only two hours at most. I left my room going to check on Y/N. Creeping around, I found her laying on a bed in the infirmary her chest rising and falling slowly.

I held her hand in mine checking her injuries. The lower half of her body was covered by the blanket leaving me to examine the upper part.

Her right arm was in a a sling and her left wrist was wrapped in a bandage. Her head also had bandages wrapped around it. I looked down realizing almost her entire upper half was wrapped up as well, a light maroon color slowly leaking through.
