"You can still choose to go back if you'd like, unlike me."
"But if I do go back, I'll lose you.."
"Well, yeah. But if you stay, the others will die. Like I said, its your choice, Melony."

The butterfly's wing beats gently. Blood spills and smears just as gently. It was only a matter of time before the poor creature flutters for its next victim. The stars shone above the two, tears flowing down the stairs and into the abyss below. Melony looked down at her drawing and then behind her into the portal to the Surface. She frowns.
"That's the thing.. They aren't going to make it, even with me. Niles considers himself a God now that he fused with Smg0 again..And I've seen what they can do, twice. At this rate, they won't survive."
Axol tightened his lips, a bit saddened at the despondent girl in front of him. She looks into Axol's eyes once more.
"I'm going with you."
"Are you sure?"
She nods. "I'm not strong enough to kill a god. Especially considering my mentor who trained me is the God I want to kill."
Axol wrapped his arms around her in a tight embrace.
"I understand, Melony. I understand what it's like to know that you can do nothing about certain situations."
He smiles a little.
"Hey, look on the bright side. Even if our friends do die, we can all reunite and start over. In our own afterlife, together."
Melony chuckles. "Yeah."
"Dont stress yourself out too much on this. Lemme know when you're ready to let go."
Melony gave herself a moment to take her last real breaths. She then nods.
"I'm ready to go."
"Good."
Axol grabbed Melony's hand and they started their journey up to the bright portal in front of them. She suddenly stops.
"Hmm?"
Axol turns to her.
"Ah, its nothing. I'm just a little nervous."
"Dont worry, it'll be just like living. You won't tell the difference. And besides, I'll be with you every step of the way."
Melony stares into the blinding light. She blinks for a moment, wiping her tears.
"Okay."
They approach the light, and bliss had finally come.
