Aurora had exhaled as she had gotten out of her car and grabbed her things while she saw as Logan had stopped his car. She exhaled as she didn't look forward to seeing him, but she knew that she eventually would have to do it.

"Hi, Logan," Aurora said as he smiled at her.

"Morning. I'm glad you're the first person I see," Logan said as he had handed her a black pouch.

"Happy birthday. Although it is a day late," Logan said as Aurora looked confused at him.

"You gave me a present yesterday," Aurora said.

"Notebook and pens aren't technically a good 21st birthday gift," Logan said as Aurora threw out the content of the pouch.

"21 typically symbolizes that you have a key to open a new phase of your life. So I thought this was appropriate. I wanted to give it to you yesterday, but Caden Saltzman was all over you," Logan said.

"Yeah, I know. I don't know what happened over there. Think it was Daniel's doing. He's trying, along with Noah, to get me out of the house. And I don't know why, but they're just trying to help. Logan, I know we are technically not in a really good place at the moment, but I appreciate everything you've done for me. Over the summer, those first two weeks you were there so much. Almost the whole day and I appreciate that. Even now you're doing more than you should. And I want you to know that I appreciate it," Aurora said.

"I want to be there for you, Aurora. Always. I never want to stop doing that and being that for you," Logan said.

"I know. Thank you," Aurora said as she had given Logan a hug.

Holding her body close to his, Logan felt the same connection that he had felt with Aurora a year ago. Holding her tight against him, Logan had smiled at how things were. He had pulled away from her as he started to walk to the inside as Aurora suddenly knew she would do something she regrets.

"Logan, do you have an actual minute or two to spare quickly?" Aurora asked as Logan looked at her.

"Rora, it's 7:15. Of course I do. What's wrong?" Logan asked.

"I know I've been making a point to avoid you and I'm guessing that will never stop. It won't ever stop being weird or being majorly uncomfortable for me. But I want you to know that I'm doing all of this because I love you," Aurora said as Logan laid down his bag and went closer to her.

"I know. I know you do. And that's why I have to do this," Logan said as he cupped her cheeks and leaned in forward.

Placing a soft kiss on Aurora's lips, it felt tender and soft. Much like their last kiss. But when Logan had pulled away, instead of running off, he had looked into Aurora's eyes. For him her eyes were bright and shined in the early morning sun. Aurora had smiled at him as she had leaned in forward placing another soft kiss on his lips as she threw her arms around his neck, while he held onto her waist and pulled her in closer for a more tender and passionate kiss.
