Aurora had shaken her head while she looked how Landon and Logan were playing video games. Logan had wanted Aurora to be around his friends more often but it became difficult as Landon didn't have much hair for her. Mason and Asher, fortunately, didn't have a huge problem with Aurora and she was just now getting to know Thomas. But in general, it was just Landon who had a problem with her.
"You okay?" Mason asked as Aurora had nodded.
"Yeah, I'm fine. It seems like whenever things are slightly rough I tend to hide. I know that Logan wants me to try and get to know you guys, but it's always difficult when Landon doesn't have any hair for me," Aurora said.
"Who wants a beer?" Mason asked as everyone yelled.
"I'll get it, Mason. Rory, did you take your morning meds?" Logan asked a she got up.
"Logan, it's like 3 in the afternoon. Of course I did. Long ago," Aurora said as Logan grabbed 5 beers from the fridge.
"Some tea?" Logan asked as he handed the beers over to Mason who handed them out.
"Yeah, that'll be nice," Aurora said.
"I'll make some quickly. Warning I might be..." Logan said as he heard a knock on the door.
"having visitors. Mason, get that please. It has to be Samantha. I'm sorry," Logan said as Aurora shook her head.
"Bloody hell. Do you really think you can practically ignore me?" Samantha sked as she immediately went over to Logan and hugged him.
"Sam, I'm not forced to visit at any time. I can visit whenever I want. Plus, I told Mom I have things to do," Logan said.
"Where's this bloody girlfriend of yours? I think she has a damn cheek to just say that she doesn't... Who are you?" Samantha asked looking at Aurora.
"No one special," Aurora said as Logan handed her a cup of tea.
"Thank you. So this is your sister?" Aurora asked as Logan nodded.
"Adoptive sister. Both she and I were adopted," Logan said.
"Answer my bloody question," Samantha said.
"This is my little brat of a sister, Samantha. Who doesn't know any manners. My girlfriend, Aurora. Be nice," Logan said.
"So you're the girl who is apparently too good to visit Logan's family?" Samantha asked as Aurora looked at Logan.
"Is it okay if I go and lie down for a while?" Aurora asked.
"Yeah, sure Love. Go lie down in my room. I'll wake you up a bit later for dinner," Logan said as Aurora left to the room.
"Really, Samantha? Take it easy. She wasn't just feeling like company on Sunday and I'm sure as hell not going to force her to do something that she doesn't want to," Logan said.
"Mom really wanted to meet her," Samantha said.
"I know Mom did. But I'm not going to force her to do anything she doesn't want to," Logan said.
"What's her deal anyway? Seems like life is beyond her standard or something," Samantha said.
"Sinus that is causing headaches. But she'll be just fine. Give her some space," Logan said.
