It was a chilly April night, as the group of three teenage girls were walking back home from a night out at the movies. They had never intended to stay that long, but they had been out celebrating the end of their exams.

Now that those were over, they hadn't got anything to worry about until after the holidays. This meant that they had a lot of extra and spare time to do whatever they wanted, however it seemed as though jobs were on their minds.

Their paces became quicker as the temperature dropped. They walked down the street and were about to enter the alleyway. They never liked going down there, seeing as though there were mysterious people staring at you and watching your every move. The fact that it was extremely dark didn't help either, but it was a short cut to their houses.

As they turned to enter the alley, they all turned to each other with a look of 'you go first' in their eyes. They all stopped just before they entered. None of them moved. A cold breeze whistled past their frozen ears. Then a scurrying of some kind of wild animal was heard, but getting quieter. Almost as though it was running away from someone, or something..

Charlotte, the most brave and eager to go home, stepped out first. Then it was Jessie, who had suddenly gained the nerves because someone else had stepped out before her. Then lastly, was Emma who was holding on to one of Charlotte and Jessie's arms. They all started walking through the alleyway. Thoughts along the lines of 'this isn't so bad' all crossed their minds. However those thoughts didn't stay for very long.

Emma was the last in the line. She was looking everywhere, the walls, the ground, the sky, infront of her... She didn't look behind. She hadn't needed to.. A cold slither of a hand had grabbed Emma's mouth and another grabbed her shoulder and yanked her back. She tried to make a noise but there was no avail. She was dragged into the depths of the darkness.

Jessie and Charlotte had soon realised that there was no longer anything holding onto their arms. They turned round, just incase she had just let go.. But there was no one there. They looked back to back, making sure that whatever had got Emma wouldn't attack them unexpectedly. Even though they did this, their fate was still the same as Emma's.

They were all kidnapped and all that was left in the alleyway, was a crest like piece of metal. Which was most likely ripped off while one of the girls struggled to break free. It had a skull with octopus tentacles behind it..

Hydra.
