After all the business with Loki and the Chitauri was sorted, S.H.I.E.L.D. had sent Loki back to Asgard along with his golden haired yet fierce brother, Thor. All the other Avengers had gone back to wherever they thought was comfortable, for their mini vacation after saving the world from chaos. S.H.I.E.L.D. on the other hand was always busy. You can't exactly be lazy when you're a organisation that searches for any kind of danger or dangerous thing, that can potentially risk the world being destroyed.
Nick Fury was the head of the organisation. He ordered and told people what to do. He was the one on top of everything, but at this point there was nothing. Even though everything and everyone was safe from harm now, Nick still couldn't feel but a little bit bored. He had checked everyone who was working at S.H.I.E L.D. headquarters if there was anything going on. No one had answered with yes. He sat in his office, staring out to the peaceful blue sky. This was a way to kill time.
After a while, he swivelled his chair round and even resorted to watching the news. As the incredibly boring weather and such passed, a woman appeared on the screen.
"Yesterday, the disappearance of three teenage girls was reported when they failed to return home. The parents had stated that they had never felt happy with their children out so late in an area they still are not familiar with." The woman carried on, talking about how the families had just moved to New York. Fury sat back in his chair. 'Even on the news there isn't anything we can help with.' He thought.
Even with all the technology that S.H.I.E.L.D. possessed, Fury still had no way of entertaining himself. He swung his chair back round to the window. He sighed as he looked into the bright sky. Boredom was hard to be rid of.
This wasn't the case in the Avengers tower though.
