In the middle of the town, stood the Avengers tower. Also known as the 'big ugly building in New York' by Steve. The only person that was occupying it, was Tony. He was fixing parts of his old and new suits, talking to Jarvis in the process.

"Hey, Jarvis?"

"Yes sir?"

"You're getting a little quiet up there. You sure you don't have any trouble keeping up with me, Jarvis?" Tony said sarcastically.

Tony spent most of his days in the Avengers Tower. Well this was understandable because it was his home. However, because all the aliens attacking Earth with a mischievous 'leader', the Tower had sustained a lot of damage. After that had been taken care of, Tony and Pepper had planned a new design for the tower. Making it bigger and more efficient, with rooms for each Avenger and their gear.

Although they had arranged the plans together, Pepper was at conferences most of the time and Tony had a lot of spare time, which he would kill by fixing new tech. He wasn't lonely because he had Jarvis but he hadn't heard or seen the other Avengers in a while. He thought that Banner would have at least come round to test out some new gear. Tony looked out of the window, which was 80 percent of the wall's surface, gazing at the many other buildings that were competing with the Avengers Tower's height. His thoughts trailed off, just like the many signs of vapour trail in the evening sky.

"Sir?" Jarvis made Tony aware of his staring, which he had now stopped.

"What is it?"

"Sir, it seems as though there is someone who would like to see you." Tony made a confused face, not aimed at anywhere in particular.

'Who could that be?' Tony thought as he asked Jarvis if he knew them. Jarvis didn't recognise them, due to the fact that they had never entered the Tower before.

Before Tony could reply, the lift made a ping! noise, notifying them that whoever it was had just entered the lift. Tony was trying to think who it was. A S.H.I.E.L.D. agent? Someone wanting to talk about business? It could be anyone. The only thing that Tony was now regretting, was the fact that Jarvis could not see or tell who it was. He really should have installed some kind of camera near the front door..
