Alex's POV I waited the couch for Pete to come back. Since we were still in LA we were in a hotel so this was going to be a million more times awkward.
"Alex?" I heard the door close and then Pete appeared "hey babe! What are you doing here don't you have one last dress fitting?" "I did it earlier" Pete nodded and walked over to me.
He sat on the bed and kissed my head "Pete we need to talk" he sighed "I knew this day would come. Can you just be honest with me?" I looked up at him and nodded tears filling my eyes "is it Tom?" I let the tears fall "I'm sorry Pete, it's not about you or Tom it's about me! I think I need to just focus on myself and not a partner".
Pete laughed "yeah masterbation is pretty cool" I laughed at his joke and hugged him "I really do love you Pete and this was fun" he looked at me and kissed my head "I love you too Alexia" I kissed Pete's cheek. "Alex was... we're we real?" I looked at Pete's heartbroken face "of course we were! Perhaps if I had met you first" he smiled.
"You're a great no you're an amazing girl Alex! I hope Tom realizes that before it's too late" I kissed his forehead "I'm gonna go take a walk! I'll be gone when you get back but umm you have fun tomorrow ok" I hugged Pete and watched him walk away.
When the door shut I started crying. Not just because of the breakup but for all of my losses. Pete, Tom, Mac, Manchester, my grandpa, my mental health it was all just coming out of me.
I grabbed my phone and stared at my lockscreen which was Pete's face. I smiled before changing it to Toulouse and Myron.
