Alexia Valentino and Pete Davidson enjoyed a whirlwind of a relationship late 2018 till 2019 and they were even engaged.
However it wasn't meant to be and the 21 year old singer/actress called it quits with the 26 year old comedian. During a Far From Home interview on Sunday saying quote "the romance was unrealistic and if I'm being honest I was mainly using him to get over Tom which wasn't ok but I also liked that Pete made me laugh and I forgot about all the bad".
The Adore singer is still currently single and we are expecting not only Marvel projects from her but a new album. Alex said that this album was going to reflect love, loss, and heartbreak.

But if their relationship was fun and distracting why did they break up and break off the engagement? What was the reasoning behind the spilt?

Opening up in an interview with Charlamagne Tha God yesterday Tuesday evening, Pete revealed that he knew their relationship was over the second Alex wrote Boyfriend.
He said "I was like I knew this day would come but like honestly is it because of Tom? She said no and like I told her that I respected her and I understood".

"Alex has been through so much and then you know I popped up out of nowhere and I put a smile on her face. When we started talking she had just broke up with Tom Holland and I knew that she'd never love anyone like she loved him you know plus her ex had died and all that. My heart goes out to Mac's family and I hope Alex all the best".

After getting together October 15th after Pete DMed her on Instagram, by late June early July the pair called it quits.
Headlines circulated throughout the world and sources close to the singer reportedly told TMZ the whole relationship was 'way too much too soon.'
During the FFH interview Alex said the relationship was unrealistic. Going into more detail she said quote "I met Pete, and it was an amazing distraction. It was frivolous and fun and insane and highly unrealistic, and I loved him, and I didn't know him."
Pete then responded yesterday during his interview criticizing her choice of words, calling them 'unfair' and said where he once wasn't going to do stand up material about their time together, he now sees it as 'fair game'.

The Spider-Man Far From Home premiere is tonight so hopefully we'll find out if the split was because of Tom or just because Alex decided that she needs time to reflect on herself.
