The Goddess of Fire, Tanwen.
One of the two successors of the fallen Embodiment of Fire Azarleth, Tanwen represents the warmth of fire. The gentle nature of the virgin goddess lent towards her becoming also known as the Goddess of the Hearth and a patron Goddess of the Forge as well as a protection goddess.
Myths tell of how she was wrongly punished for the crimes of her twin sister Fiamma who represents the uncontrolled and destructive force of fire, Tanwen's eyes being torn from their sockets as well as being cast out of the House of Life as her ultimate punishment, a decision that caused a rift between many of the gods. She was adopted by the head of the House of Death, Persades, Creator of Death, and helps tend to the souls that died from fire related incidents.
She takes the appearance of a medieval maiden as it was during these ages that she was the most popular/worshipped. She wears an elaborate band over her eyes to conceal the fact they are no longer there, as she wishes to not startle or scare those with the ghastly sight.
One is able to identify her followers by the symbol of two eyes surrounded by fire. The symbol is often also used to ward off evil as a protection sigil.
