The Immortal and Unchanging, Persades, Creator of Death and Goddess of The Beneath

~Appearance~

•She possesses nine magnificent wings with gleaming black feathers. They are often not revealed, but along the six wingspans and on the feathers are eyes of varying size, shape, and color. In her second form her wingspands when fully unfolded reaches 100 feet and she stands at 400 feet, but she rarely assumes such a form for obvious reasons. She will often appear with a single pair of wings with a 10 foot wingspan, often folded behind her, and stands at 6 foot even.
•Her ivory skin is unmarked save only for the black that stains her fingertips that seems to flow upwards to her elbows as though it was water trickling in reverse from her fingers
•Her eyes are a luminous and hypnotic golden color that glows in the darkness. Her eyes have black scleras and cat-like pupils
•She has short midnight black hair that frames her face perfectly, reaching down only to her chin even though she is often portrayed as having long flowing raven black hair, though this is mainly how her aura presents itself as wild and all-encompassing, untamed and stretching across any room she finds herself in. Upon her head she has four horns, one pair that curls around her head as a crown and the second pair that curves upwards
•Her garments consist of a flowy white linen gown with gold and silver sewn into it that gives her bodice its shape as it hugs her upper body but flows elegantly around her lower half, brushing against the floor. She rarely wears jewelry but is often depicted wearing golden bangles around her arms and legs and she does not wear shoes of any kind, her feet often hidden beneath the skirt of her dress
•Her face is one of ageless beauty, not a single sign of wrinkles upon her fair skin yet there is an aged, almost grandmother-like kindness to her golden eyes. Her soft, dark navy blue lips are their natural color and are often parted in a warm, welcoming or loving smile

~Temperament~

•Persades is known for her calm and fair temperament; if she gets upset or feels disgusted by an individual she will meet them with cold indifference. If she is truly angered by something... well, one would pray to have never existed if ever faced with her fury
•She is a loving mother and an affectionate being all around. She often shows such affection through physical touch. She runs her house with a gentle guiding hand and often supports her children any way she can. Her affection and kindness is so well known that she is often depicted embracing the dead and why many do not fear passing into her domain when they die
•When it comes to passing judgment on souls and people alike, she is brutally honest. She believes in redemption but that it takes time, which is why she made a deal with Dagian to allow for Reincarnation, so that souls have all the time and chances to make up for the sins they've committed and the wrongs they've done

~Relationships~

•With the other Creators, she's... civil. Their relationships are complicated, especially her relationship with Dagian and Bedisa. She doesn't trust either of them and is suspicious of their actions. They are the only ones she doesn't know she will ever forgive
•She knows the names of each and every one of her children and takes the time to get to know and spend time with all of them. She does try to help keep the peace in her family, as she hates to see her children and grandchildren fight. Her love is unconditional for them
•With humanity, she is seen as the warmth of the afterlife. In her arms is the comfort of unbiased judgement and the feeling of peace after death
•With monsters, it is complicated. She has given birth to some of the Godly Beasts, which are often depicted as monsters but she doesn't treat them any differently; they are her children after all. With others, she treats fairly but often doesn't mingle with them much as many are immortal and as such don't interact with her realm all that much
•To the gods born of the other houses she is just as fair and unbiased, often welcoming if they are cast out of their houses or if they end up marrying one of her children. Those she adopts she treats just like any of her children with love and affection
•She tends to have many lovers, both godly and monstrous, even the occasional human that has caught her eye, however she prefers to treat them like flings since she believes romantic relationships will never last for long... with her, at least. Plus she often feels old when interacting with the other generations, like she might as well be their mother, and that just makes her feel strange. Plus... her heart may or may not belong to a certain... entity

~Fun Facts About the Creation of This OC~

•I had written Persades at a time when rather than looking for original names for gods I wanted to splice together the names of already existing gods to create a new character; in Persades's case I spliced Persephone and Hades from Greek mythology
•I wanted to depict her as warm and loving as opposed to the other more colder and sometimes cruel gods of death in various mythologies and that she genuinely cares about the souls she takes care of rather than it just being some job she was saddled with; that it was something she chose to accept even if it may make her unpopular amongst the others
