Ch.10 Wolf attack

After a while of walking in the woods, the Wonderlandians entered the dark woods. The woods had no light, just dark, dead trees and cloudy skies.

"This place is creepy" Maddie shivered.

Just then, a chattering sound strucked the gang.

"What's that?" Bunny asked in a scared tone.

"Tony's teeth chattering" Tammy said as she looked at Tony who was chattering his teeth, Tammy then placed her hand up his jaw to drop chattering. All of a sudden, everyone heard the sound of a wolf howling.

"Was that a wolf?" Kitty asked.

"I don't think there's wolves in Wonderland" Lizzie said.

But then the Wonderlandians saw a pair of yellow eyes staring at them from the shadows, the gang was paralyzed with fear. The eyes then came from the shadows and there stood Cerise, she looked like a doll, but she had her yellow wolf eyes and sharp canine teeth that growled at the gang.

"Cerise?" Maddie squeaked.

But then Cerise charged at them, but they quickly moved out as she ran pass them and slid on the ground, but she got up and went after them.

"Run!" Alistair yelled as everyone ran from Cerise who was her crazy wolf form, but she was too fast that she caught up to them quickly them.

"Everyone split up!" Alistair said as they all ran in different directions, Cerise didn't stop to think, she just ran in Lizzie's direction.

Lizzie ran as fast as she could from Cerise, she could feel her coming up from behind. But she then remembered her deck of razor cards, she quickly pulled them out and flicked them at Cerise, the cards sharp edges pierced into Cerise's face, she stopped running and as she gave a small howl in pain and took the cards out, which gave Lizzie time to run. After Cerise pulled out the cards, she scented a rabbit, she then turned as saw Bunny running in her direction, she then took off after Bunny. As Cerise was running after Bunny, Kitty caught sight of them and teleported in front of Cerise, Cerise stopped when she saw Kitty, Kitty then gave a hiss as she used her claws to scratch Cerise's face, Cerise gave a howl in pain as she clutched her face, Kitty then went to Bunny's side.

"Hold on" she said as Bunny grab hold of Kitty's arm and they both vanished before wolf Cerise could get them.

But then cerise caught another scent, she turned her yellow eyes towards the rest of the gang that were still running, and she went after them.

"What do we do?!" Dina asked.

"Cari!" Alistair said "You still have that fire set in your hookah?"

"Oh I forgot about that!" Cari suddenly gasped as she stopped running, she quickly turned the knob on her hookah to fire and she sucked it in through the tube, she waited till Cerise was closer, and she blew out the fire onto the grass in front of Cerise who stopped herself from going into the fire, she growled as she realized that there was no way to get to the Wonderlanders, she gave one last growl and ran away. After making sure she was away, Cari turned the knob to ice and she blew out ice onto the fire which set it out.

"I can't believe I forgot about this" she said.

"But now that crazy wolf Cerise is gone" Lizzie said "We can get out of this creepy woods now".
