Mina was the first one to react. She told the other girls to run away.

Being a great dancer, and one of the closest friends to the captain, her teammates respect her, and they follow her order. Nayeon was still unable to mobilize her body as the shock overcame her mind, Mina has to literally yank her away back to reality.

"We need to move. There would be chaos soon," she whispered to her friend. To the familiar voice of Mina, Nayeon overcame her petrified state. She nodded and was pulled to the locker room designated for players, underground. She found her teammates huddled together. At their frightened expression, Nayeon was reminded of her duty as the team leader.

"Is everyone here?" She tried counting mentally but the numbers kept on muddling, she couldn't think properly. Mina held her shoulder which calmed her down.

"Sana isn't here," one of the girls said.

"... What?" Nayeon faltered. Sana was one of her best friends too. "But I didn't see her leave."

"I did." Everyone's attention shifted to Mina, "She sneaked out and asked me to cover for her."

That was definitely something Sana would do; the girl is unstoppable when it comes to fooling around.

"Shit, there's no signal down here," Jiwon announced. Everyone started checking their phones, there was no internet or phone reception. "What the hell is going on?"

Their minds entertain the question until the noise from above reaches the locker room. All they're hearing are sheer panic and fear. There was running and shouting everywhere, there were even violent knocks on the metal door of the locker room. The chaos that Mina had talked about was finally happening outside.

"I have to go out there," Mina said to Nayeon, in her soft-spoken voice.

"Huh-what, are you crazy?" Nayeon had unconsciously raised her voice, causing the others to look in their direction, "There are violent attacks happening out there, that's why we ran in here. You'll just get yourself hurt!"

"But there's someone I had to make sure is safe." Mina sounds so determined, which is not good. Once she sets her mind to doing something, she never stops until she succeeds.

"Look, Mina. I know you're worried about Sana; we all are—" Nayeon gestured over the girls. "—But going out there without knowing what we're up against, is stupid. You're not a fighter. You can't even open a jar, what chance do you have against that medic guy?"

"I know Sana would be fine. It's... somebody else." Mina wouldn't meet the captain's eyes.

The only times that Mina acts like this is when she did something wrong, or if it's about her ex. Nayeon figured it was the latter. It's always about Mina's dumbass ex.

"Of course, you have to make sure she's okay. You're still in love with her even if you wouldn't admit it out loud." Nayeon crossed her arms, "You do realize you're the only one still caught up with your past relationship, right? She has already moved on, Mina. Open your eyes, for goddamn sake!"

"I saw Tzuyu outside." Mina's answer silenced Nayeon for a while.

"... Tzuyu?" Mina nodded to the older lady's question, "But she's—"

"I know. But I'm sure it was her." She gently touched Nayeon's arm, "She was alone right before we went in here. I don't think she's any better than the last time we saw her."

"And her sister? She left Tzuyu alone?" Nayeon was irritated by Tzuyu's sister's carelessness. Tzuyu was like a real sister to her. And then she realized something, "During our performance, Tzuyu was the reason you couldn't focus and not your ex."
