It was about three in the afternoon, when the cries of pain and the wailing of those who became unfortunate victims, had stopped. Tzuyu was sleeping soundly on Nayeon's lap, while Mina was trying to find a signal.

"No luck?" Nayeon asks.

Mina sighed and slid down the wall to sit, "I think the communication lines have been cut off."

"What do you think happened back there?" Nayeon trusts Mina's ideas more than anything. She was ranked first in the whole university for a reason.

Nayeon used to be the one on top until her younger friend came along and she stays at second since then, which she didn't mind one bit. That was until Jihyo got accepted through the stupid scholarship program and took the second spot from her. She genuinely hate that stupid Council President to the bones.

"I don't know. It could be anything." Mina didn't give a concrete answer. She has watched a lot of movies and secretly played countless games similar to what's happening right now, and the only thing that comes into her mind was the idea of Zombies. But a lot of scientists and experts had already debunked the possibility of it happening, so what is this? "Maybe some kind of drugs? Food poisoning? Virus? But that out there is for sure madness."

Nayeon pressed her ear to the door, "I don't think there's anyone outside. Should we check?"

"You want to risk it? You want to risk Tzu?" Mina didn't mean to be harsh, or embarrass Nayeon for raising a fair suggestion. But she was annoyed by the situation, by her ex for leaving Tzuyu alone, and by herself for feeling helpless about whatever they were facing.

"Hey, I'm just asking!" There goes Nayeon overreacting again. Tzuyu woke up and sat down properly, rubbing her temple.

"You're right. I'm sorry." Mina immediately backed off, she knew a fight between the two of them could only worsen their stay inside the storage room, it could make things awkward. And she knew better than to challenge Nayeon. The girl could make anyone cry.

"You know, I gave you a free pass this morning, but you're starting to get on my nerves, Myoui," Nayeon warned. "I'm your friend here, not the enemy."

Tzuyu sensed the growing tension between the two. A fight could force her to choosing sides and she doesn't want to be put into that situation. The two ladies are special to her, "Uhm... Have you heard anything from my sister?"

Both Nayeon and Mina's features soften. They became ashamed of themselves, behaving like kids in front of the young girl.

"I'm sorry, Tzu, but I think all the lines are currently down." Mina delivered the unfortunate information. "There's no phone reception or internet on any of our phones. The last news I read was about the happenings inside the school, then the signal was gone."

"But there's a good chance Jeong's still at the school, right?" All of them are aware of all the possibilities that could happen, and the chance of Jeongyeon being out there is huge, but whether she's still herself or was now one of the cannibals is also widely possible.

"Of course, even though she's a jerk most of the time, she wouldn't leave knowing her precious sister is still somewhere in here," Nayeon said, honestly. Everyone silently agreed.

After straying from the group, Sana went and meet the cute guy she saw earlier during their entrance. He's about Sana's age and has an innocent but pale face. The guy is a student of YG University, not an athlete-type though, as he has quite a lanky frame. Sana flashed a sweet smile toward him.

"Hey, what are you doing in here?" She sat beside him on the grass, too close for comfort, that the guy has to slightly move away.

"I'm not really a fan of sports." The guy cleared his throat, looking anywhere but the girl beside her, "And the huge crowd makes me dizzy."
