Chapter 1: Prologue

A girl named Melody was very unhappy with her life, not only because she was distanced from her family and friends, but also because her love life sucked. No matter what she did or how she acted around others, Melody never seemed to have any luck. She was addicted to romance novels, movies, tv shows and even looking at all her friend's relationships on social media. Melody fell into a spiral of using her imagination to make the perfect boyfriend. She had called the boy Damien, it just seemed right in her mind. He had light green eyes, brown hair which had slight waves and he was about 5'7 to 5'8.
