Eventually, Regina dropped Damien because he got "too clingy" for her. Damien's first choice of action was now to get Melody back, which wasn't going to happen so easily. She, of course, just ignored him because she had no interest in talking to him. Damien didn't give up though. Melody was just sitting in her living room doing something on her laptop when she heard a knock on her apartment door. 'Who could that be? Is it my dad? Someone from school?' Melody thought while walking to open the door. As she opened the door, she saw Damien. "Hi Melody." "What do you want, Damien? What happened to Regina?" She responded. Damien didn't say anything, he didn't need to. There was a change in his eyes, something unusual, and soon enough she was pushed against the wall behind her. As she was closer to his eyes she noticed what the shift was. It was pure anger, which confused her. Out of nowhere he just started yelling at her. "Do you wanna know why Regina and I aren't a thing anymore, huh? Because you made me specifically for you, not anyone else. You had to imagine me because you were lonely and upset with your life. I now understand why everyone thinks you're weird and an outcast. You're pathetic!" Melody stared at him in shock. Tears were streaming down her face at this point. "Yeah, you're right. I was lonely and upset with my life. But at least I didn't ditch the people who were always there for me." "Didn't you leave your parents when you were 16?" Damien asked. "So? I did! You already know why and I'm not explaining myself again. You were one of the worst mistakes I've ever made in my life!" "I could say the same about you." "No you can't because without me you wouldn't be here right now." "Oh yeah-" "I wish you would just disappear!" Melody said, finally interrupting Damien.

Just like that he was gone. Melody was now at peace.
