Chapter 2: Alive?

On June 16, 2023, Melody had just gotten home from her job after school. She was totally exhausted from being a waitress and her very stressful senior year workload. Melody is usually productive at this time, but she felt lonely and decided to opt instead for her imaginary boyfriend, Damien. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary to Melody until she opened her eyes and saw Damien standing right beside her confused. "AHH, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE! WHAT THE ACTUAL F-" Damien interrupted Melody. "Calm down my love. No need to swear!" "That doesn't explain why you're here or how you got here. Did you teleport, or- or just magically appear?" Melody said. "I'm honestly not quite sure how I got here, or why I am here, but I'm glad it's here with you." Damien responded. Melody was flattered by his response and couldn't help but blush and chuckle. "Oh my, what a lovely thing for you to say Damien!" "Anything for you." Damien responded. Melody was in absolute shock over how perfect Damien was for her, especially since he had an amazing attitude towards her.
