The room is dark again, but I have movement. I hear squeaking, like when shoes have a good grip on the floors in the gym. I headed towards the sound, I could feel the floor difference like every step I took was a different piece of flooring, I kept walking forward as I felt a ball bouncing from the vibrations of the floor. I bent down to touch the floor, I felt the different wood pieces with fresh wax on top, I got back up and started moving towards the sound of the ball. It became louder with every step I took. I started putting out my hands to guide me since someone must have been bouncing the ball. The ball stopped bouncing, I started looking around (not like I could see anything) and started moving my hands like I'm trying to hit a fly with my hand, until I heard a ball being dropped and bouncing in my direction, I bent down and started searching the ground for where the ball was coming from.
The ball hit my left hand as the lights turned on, I could see my school's gym. I see someone under the net, I start heading towards them until they suddenly disappear. Where did they go? I try to turn around but my body isn't listening, of all the times to freeze.
"Need help?" Now this makes since
"It would be nice if you helped Genki," once I said his name he appeared beside me and tapped my shoulder, when he did that I got all movement back as I faced him. He was smiling which made me smile too, he is wearing his basketball uniform, he looks good but isn't he injured? How is his leg? I wanted to ask so many questions but there was no point, he probably wouldn't tell me the truth
"Come on let's play," he tells me as he moves to the net and went into a defensive stance as I started talking down the ball to face him
"Let's go," I tell him as the game began
We played for a while I was being destroyed, he should be injured but how does he have this much energy? I'm starting to get tired and it's getting harder to breathe, I see him about to drive and I let him pass, there was no way I could block him in my state. The gym door lit up opened as I see another shadow came threw
"Ganging up on her isn't fun, why not change it up to a 2-on-1?" the shadow was Yasuo, I started to smile as he walked towards us.
"Alright, I'll take both of you on," Genki says as he starts stretching "thanks to Atsuko she got me warmed up, so now I can beat both of you easily," he tells us, I walk towards Yasuo and nudge his shoulder as he smiled and walked towards Genki.
"Let's beat Genki," I told Yasuo, he smiled the whole time. He reminded me of a frog while playing, it was like he had springs in his shoes
We kept playing with the winner's ball, as I paused for a second and looked around the gym. My dreams have been very detailed, the benches' colors and feeling of the floor feel so real. Yasuo grabs the ball and drives into Genki leaving me open for a shot, he passes the ball to me as I shoot the ball and goes in.
"WwOo!" I hear a very loud voice behind me, I look behind me and see three shadows on the bleachers, they weren't there before...I look back to Genki and Yasuo but they were gone, I look back at the shadows and they were gone too.
I start to worry and start looking around for someone...anyone, don't leave me alone, please. I start hearing thuds and see the gym lights turning off one by one, I'm still looking for someone and see a light turned on in the gym doors that Yasuo entered and I start sprinting to the door. The light kept getting bright and bright with every step, once I got to the door I pushed through. The light was blinding as my vision became white.
