I hope you enjoyed this! Personally, I really enjoyed writing this au. The spark that inspired me to have this idea was actually Derivakat's song from awhile back—Captain's Call. (The song was about Puffy...oops lol)
I started this quite awhile ago. Maybe even before I started publishing LTGB. But I got stuck on the second chapter and didn't know how to keep going. At that point, this story was called Sail Away—I changed the name since then because I thought it didn't fit anymore.
I had the basic plot line planned since the very beginning, but it took me awhile to get back into writing it. Once I got motivated, though, I spent much of my limited free time working on it. I absolutely love how it turned out, and Appetency definitely contains some of my favorite scenes that I've ever written.
