Namaari felt fear struck her. She slightly shivered and said, "Oh um...about that mother..."

Virana raised her arm. "I don't want any excuses. It really took you this long to figure out that you like her?"

"Wait what?" asked Namaari, feeling confused.

Virana chuckled and said, "I already suspected that something was up between you two. And I was speaking with Benja but Noru also found out and told me. Dearest, I'm happy you found someone you love so much. And Raya is a very kind hearted and sweet young woman. She complements who you are and I'm so happy about it."

Namaari couldn't believe that her mother was so supportive of her and Raya dating and she smiled and said, "Mother, you have no idea how much shock I'm in. I thought you'd be mad."

"Why on Earth would I be mad? I know that we never really had any one-on-one conversations relating to dating but that doesn't mean I'll object if you are truly happy being with someone who reciprocates the same energy." explained Virana.

Namaari felt completely relieved and embraced her mother. The sudden affection took Virana by surprise and she said, "I don't get that very often. That means that this really means a lot to you, mist."

"It does mother."

After a moment of silence, Namaari sighed and said, "But Chief Benja doesn't approve of Raya and I."

"He did express his view but based on how he spoke, he's not objective of you being in love with another female. He is just concerned about the fact that you are royalty and you will not have any biological children of your own. He is a man stuck in traditions. That's what I've come to realize."

"But...Vashi can rule in Raya's place if he wants to. That's also an option."

"Hmm... I don't know Namaari, royal work is a lot and to let him take over to benefit you and Raya is a little-"

"Selfish..." Namaari finished with a sigh.

Virana nodded and said, "I'll talk to the Chief, okay? Don't worry too much about it, dear."

"I'll try, I'm going to visit Raya now."

"Okay mist."

Namaari left to Raya's room and she smiled when she saw how happy Raya was with her brothers. She went over to her and hugged her. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling a little better." replied Raya, toying around with her food.

"That's good to know."

Raya blushed and both Vashi and Zou smirked at her. Earlier they kept taunting her about her feelings for Namaari. The tension was a weird one for Namaari and then she said, "Uh...what's going on?"

"Oh nothing...Hmm woah! Look at them time! Vashi and I need to go rest, huh...Good night! I'll carry away your plate for you if you're finished Raya."

"I am, thank you Zou."

"Of course."

They both left the two there and Namaari turned to Raya. "What was that about?"

"Nothing important, really... They were just being...annoying."

Namaari chuckled and said, "Well, expect more of it in the future. Dep la, I have something to tell you."

"Okay."

Namaari got closer to her and said, "My mother knows about us dating. And she's in support of us. But unfortunately, your father isn't."

Raya only sighed and didn't give an immediate verbal response. She only rested her head on Namaari's shoulder. "But...why?"

"According to my mother, because we wouldn't be able to have a biological child together."
