Along the beach were dragons. At first, Raya thought they were killed but they're all still alive since they're breathing.

"We need to revive them." said Namaari.

They heard noises behind bushes but it was only Vashi. He ran to and hugged Raya and said, "I'm so happy you're here. I remember my mother speaking that she'd immobilize the dragons but I never thought that it would be something as this! This attack could be in a few hours for goodness sake!"

"By chance, do you know of any spells that can at least keep them safe?" asked Raya.

Vashi nodded no. "I really wish I could help them but I can't. I don't even know what my mother has done to them. And honestly, I don't want to go back there. I made up my mind."

"Speaking of, how did you actually get here without being noticed?" asked Raya.

"Invisibility spell and magic. A serlot was wandering in the woods and I also used powers to domesticate it. But the invisibility spell only lasts several minutes so I used it when I'm closest to being spotted."

"Wow. Your people are evil and all but I got to commend the tactics." said Namaari.

"Hmm, my people are not necessarily evil. By the way, I trust you both enough to let you know of our origin. We aren't just people who came together and chose evil. I was never told the actual thing but my mother is said to be exiled from Kumandra for being promiscuous. She found the island and found out that other exiled people live there. Overtime, she had a great influence and was admired for her skills and intelligence so the people made her the leader and she named the island Madilia, coming from 'Madilim' which means darkness. Darkness was her only place of refuge and she began harnessing dark magic. She's only gotten more powerful and even colder ever since and because she was exiled, she wants to take revenge on all of Kumandra. That's how she even risked doing spells and all that. She's desperate." explained Vashi.

"Do you happen to know which land banished her?" asked Raya.

"My people are always talking about the lands Fang and Heart. So I guess it was one of those two lands."

"All the pieces are coming together... I can see it." said Namaari, giving Raya a smile.

"What do you mean?" asked Vashi.

"This might sound crazy but let me ask to clarify, she is aiming to tear down the Chiefs, am I right?"

"Yes, she is."

"That's because...she could be Raya's mother."

"Okay now that is just crazy!" expressed Raya incredulously.

"No, Raya. I can see why Namaari says that. You resemble her, except, she has hazel eyes and long black hair and a little lighter in complexion. But the eye shape, the other facial features, I see them in you." said Vashi.

"And if this is true, it explains why you can directly communicate with her in her sleep. Because you are her sister. Raya, don't you remember when we were laughing about the 'wild Raya' thing with Zou? You and Vashi do look alike somewhat." said Namaari.

Raya shook her head, still in disbelief. "That...that's just crazy."

"Raya, don't you see? To confirm this, you need to talk to your father. Ask him these things, ask if Heart banished his ex-partner. Then we'll know. And this might sound delusional but...maybe you can talk to her. Mothers have a thing for their daughters and I don't think she'd be mad to see you. I think it'll be emotional for her... Maybe those emotions can let her change her mind about the invasion." said Namaari.

Raya got emotional and tears fell from her eyes. Both Vashi and Namaari hugged her. It was all so much...in such a short amount of time. All along her mother was alive? And she's planning to tear down Kumandra? And now she has a brother she lost? After an outpour of her feelings, she said, "Okay.. I-I'll talk to Ba about this and whether true or not, I wanna talk to her. Maybe we can prevent this war."

"I agree." said Vashi.

"Hmm...by the way, we need to know some more about you. How old are you?" asked Raya.

"I'm Fifteen." replied Vashi.

Both Raya and Namaari stared at him in shock.

"FIFTEEN?! AS IN 1, 2, 3, 4, FIFTEEN?!"exclaimed Raya

Vashi laughed and said, "Yes your majesty, sixteen in several months. By the looks of it, you're my older sister."

"This will be a lot to process if it's true... I thought you were like 19, 20...same age as Zou... You look so much mature than your age."

"Well I'm a baby. I look this way because I've pretty much been training for most of my life. But yes...apparently I have a sister to protect."

"No offense but I can take care of myself. And are we heading back to Heart?" asked Raya.

"I have an idea. I will remain here along the coast. Let it seem as though I'm monitoring the fallen dragons in order to prevent them from getting hurt if anyone from Madilia shows up." said Vashi.

"Stay safe Vashi." said Raya.

She embraced him and he said, "I will. Safe journey sis."

"Thank you." Raya smiled at him. She was still in disbelief that Vashi was her brother but she's happy that it's someone as caring as him.

But Tail was under attack. The chiefs of the eastern lands didn't reach in time but the armies fought greatly and a fierce resistance was put up against the Madilians. They were all masked and leading them was a woman.

The woman.

She was Commander Adira, effortlessly fighting the Kumandran warriors. Her long shiny hair glistened in the sunlight and she was dressed in black pants and black boots in a long sleeved fitted brown top. She had a slightly muscular physique, similar to that of Raya but she was slightly taller than her.

She got a hold of the top commander of Tail, Maru. "Tell me where the Chief is and I'll let you live. Hold your tongue and you will die."

Maru was stuck. He obviously doesn't want to be killed but he can't just give away the location of Chief Jiro. While he nervously contemplated, someone approached from behind, kicking Adira in the back and grabbing the hand of Maru. It was one of his guards. Before Adira could be restrained, she skillfully got up and dodged their attacks before resuming fighting. Maru eventually had to retreat with some of his men to Talon and Tail was overthrown. Adira stood in the newly built palace for Chief Jiro and said, "Ahh, it feels good to have one land so far with barely any effort. But this is just the minimum. Up next are the lands I'm truly here for. Let's not waste energy on these irrelevant ones. But I want 20 of you to remain here and guard the palace and ensure no citizen leaves their homes and don't hurt them unless you're being threatened."

They bowed in respect to their leader who soon left with the rest of the army, headed to the forests near Talon.

"Tail is likely overthrown by now! We cannot let that happen to Talon! They are very powerful fighters too with excellent stamina." said Maru to Dang-Hai.

"This is way too soon! I'll gather the men and fight with them. Talon won't be overthrown. First, we need to get everyone from the water and I suggest to Spine. It has a lot of mountains where they can hide." said Dang-Hai.

"There's not enough time! We just need to have all the warriors defending Talon. But please, send some men to warn Chief Benja that an attack is underway. And also, have you seen Chief Jiro?"

"He said he was remaining in the forests with some guards to look out for any signs of the fighters. And I will send out my men immediately."

Dang-Hai sent out 5 men to alert Chief Benja and he braced for what was on the way.
