Chapter 3
Taylor knew how Chelsea felt about her. It was almost as if she taunted Chels just to have her get into trouble again. Chelsea tackled her to the ground and through all of the gasps, Seth's cheer was crystal clear. I dragged Chelsea off of that piece of ignorance and told Eden to start teaching the cheers. I stood next to Taylor and waited. Hopefully she'd feel embarrassed and leave.
"Well captain...are you going to help me up or what?" she rudely asked.
I looked up to the bleachers where Spencer was sitting. I had flames in my eyes and I desired to knee her in her mouth. He caught my drift and hurried down. He took her hand and helped her up.
"I think it would be best if you just left..." he suggested looking to the door.
"And I think you should lock that animal up. I guess we both aren't gonna get what we want, huh?" she hissed back pointing at Chels.
That's it! I stomped away, shoved all of her belongings in her bag and pushed it to her chest so she'd lose a little balance.
"Get out. I'm captain of this squad and I want you out. By all means, you can stay here and audition but just get something clear, you won't make it on the team." I whispered angrily.
She cocked her head back and sent a devilish look my way, then turned towards the exit. I looked up at Spenc and he gave me an twisted smile before he headed back to the bleachers.
"Okay everyone, from the top!"
Chels sat at the table laughing about something with Seth. It makes me happy to see that Seth can always put a smile back on her face. She saw me looking and I motioned to the groups. Seth went back to the guys when she stood up.
It wasn't until an hour later that they learned everything and it was time to practice some tumbling before auditions began. The four of us would demonstrate each tumble and they would mimic a few at a time. Spenc told me how much he loved watching us flip and whatever and his face clearly shows it. Little does he know we love watching them practice. Everyone pretty much knew how to tumble and stunt so that was a good thing. We could finally start auditions.
"Up first, group 1! Everyone else can go out and run everything through."

It was almost 5 and the last group just got done. Thank goodness!
"Thanks guys, you can leave if you wanna. Chels and I are just gonna finish up the decisions and head out."
Amber and Eden nodded and started for the door. Chels and I both looked up to the boys and saw all of them crashed out. It was cute little moments like that, that got us through the day.
"So I think that 23, 88, and 15 were our best candidates." I suggested. Chels agreed along with the acceptance request of a bunch of other contestants. We pretty much had the same taste in cheer ability, so I didn't worry much about her judgement. Tryouts were officially over and we had our 2013-2014 school year cheer squad! We packed up and the both of us swiftly put the tables and chairs away along with the mats. All ready to go, we walked over to the guys.
"It's 5:32... should we wake them and go out for dinner?" I asked looking at Chels.
"That sounds like a great idea, but first I would like to prove a point, if you don't mind." she replied.
Staring at her, I watched as she quietly walked up the bleachers and over to Spencer's bag.
"What are you doing?!" I whispered.
