She finally spoke, "I will right now. Have a good night and drive safely, please. The way you were driving earlier was very dangerous."
Her request makes my heart swell at the thought of her being concerned for my safety, but it still confuses me why someone as small and delicate as this girl would be worried about someone as big and mean as me.
I shook my head at the thought and finally responded to her, "You be safe, darling."
Making my way to the car, I opened the door, and as before entering, I turn to her and flashed a smile, which she returned.
I close the door and watch as she leaves. I turned on the car and followed her to make sure she gets home safely.
As I do this, Eden speaks up. "Where are we going? This isn't the way back home."
I sigh and look in the mirror to make eye contact with him as I respond. "We are making sure she gets home safely. It's dangerous out here at this time of night, especially for someone like her."
My response brings silence to the car until Sayer finally speaks up. "You like her, don't you? You've never been this concerned about someone you just met, especially if it's a girl."
My hands grip the steering wheel tighter, which he notices and backs off by shutting up. I continue to follow her without her noticing until she makes it back to her home, which I secretly store in my head just in case.
I made my way back to the estate, and about 25 minutes later, we arrived. I pull into the garage with all my other cars, turn off the car, and exit, not waiting for them to get out.
Making my way inside and heading straight for my office to finish the paperwork from earlier.
I went to sit down in my chair and begin my work, though I couldn't concentrate on what I was doing and reading as I kept seeing those big brown eyes.

I woke to the sun glowing on my face and surrounding my room. I groan and turn over, trying to hide from it and go back to sleep.
It didn't work. I sigh and uncover myself and make my way to the bathroom.
I cringe at the dark circles under my eyes from staying up so late last night. Last night, the cars racing, two boys yelling, brown hypnotizing eyes staring back at me.
I smiled, thinking of the cute brown-haired boy and how he made me feel all fuzzy and nervous.
That's never happened to me before.
I mean yes, I've been nervous around people before. But I've never talked to a boy before who wasn't a teacher.
I undress, start the shower, and jump in, not waiting for it to warm up because I'm too excited about the chance of seeing him again today.
I quickly wash my hair and body, step out, and dry myself off.
Leaving the bathroom, I headed to my closet, grabbed undergarments, lace socks, my underdress, white shirt, brown sweater vest, and ruffle skirt.
I dress, walk into the bathroom to dry my hair, plug in the hair blow dryer, and dry my hair.

——————————————— 15 minutes later, I finished with my shower. I quickly brush it and leave my room, heading downstairs, carefully checking if mom's home.
She is in her room. I quickly but quietly exit the house and begin making my way to a cute coffee that my friend Nadia works at.
I arrived a little later and made my way into the cafe. While looking around, trying to find her, a hand is laid on my arm.
I quickly turned to who it was and smiled to see Nadia standing in front of me in her work apron.
"Hi! I thought I would come and see you while you work, if that's okay?" I asked, nervously.
I watch as her face turns into a scolding one. "Vera, how many times have I said you're always welcome to come here? I love your company. Besides, we're best friends." She states.
I smiled at what she said. We make our way over to a table as she says she's on her break right now.
We sit in silence until she asks me, "Okay, what's up? Something happened. You're very fidgety and keep looking around as if you're looking for someone."
I turned to her and sighed. How does she always know what I'm thinking?
"I ran into a boy last night. Well, I didn't run into him. Actually, yeah, when I turned to leave, I ran right into his chest. Oh sorry, I forgot. He and two other boys were racing with some other cars and almost ran me over until they slammed on their brakes and exited the car. That's when two of them started yelling at each other until the other yelled at them to be quiet-"
Nadia cuts me off from my rambling. "Okay, Woah girl, slow down," she laughs.
Taking a deep breath, and started again. "When I turned to leave, I ran into the boy, who was the one telling the other two to stop yelling at each other. I can't get his eyes and smile out of my head, and I feel a fuzzy feeling in my stomach when I think or talk about him. I'm hoping I see him again so I can ask for his name and m-maybe his number." Mumbling the last part while looking down at my hands, feeling embarrassed.
I hear Nadia screech, which makes me jump and look up at her with wide eyes, since others heard her as well and are looking at us weirdly.
I hate attention. It's so uncomfortable and scary.
"Omg Vera, you like him!!!! Aww look, you're blushing. Stop being so nervous, girl. It's normal for one to grow up to be like a person. Did you hear any of them saying each other's names? Maybe we can find him with the other two boys that were there as well."
I slumped down, realizing they didn't. Will I ever see him again?
