Note: Vera is very trusting and unaware of possible dangers as she's never had the social interactions more people experience.

They will also move faster then what would be in real life, as this is a book and the mental state of both characters click, and match perfectly with one another.

I slowly wake up and turn to stretch while groaning at my sore muscles. Leaving my bed, heading to my closet to grab workout clothes, and change into them.

Checking the time, I read 8:43 am, giving me enough to head to the gym downstairs before anyone else.

As I exited my room and made my way downstairs, I realized I could plan out a time I could 'run into' Vera from the information I gained from Eden.

I'll ask him to keep surveillance on her, for location and safety reasons.

I know this probably sounds crazy, but knowing that her small, shy self might be out there all alone terrifies me.

Entering the gym, I grab the boxing gloves and head over to the boxing bag.

Wiping off the sweat from my face with a cloth, I grab a drink of water and check my phone. Even though it's 11 am now, I still grab my stuff and head to my room to shower.

After I finish showering, I head to my office and call the boys for updates. As a result, one by one, they entered my office and took a seat.

"Sayer, have you started the new training and security plans for the warehouses?" I asked, looking at him.

"Yeah, they're working hard on training and I've talked to them about the new plans to keep the Italians out. Not saying they were happy with that." He said the last part quietly, hoping I won't hear that I did.

"Their always welcome to the cells if they won't take orders." I firmly said, to which he nodded. Turning to Eden, I arched my brow silently, gesturing for his report.

Clearing his throat, "I've updated all the security cameras. Then added a new system for alerts that will go to each of our phones, and electronic devices when there's a break-in or emergency alert. I finished adding new security cameras around the estate and warehouses as well."
