Creedence strides into Garret's grotto with the baby Qibin in tow. Grindlwald comes out to meet him, smiling in a satisfied manner, satisfied with his son.

"Well done, Auralius" He mewed, taking the baby animal out of Auraloius's sack.

"You know something about this?" He inquires at Auralius askingly. He doens't know a damn thing.

"This is a very special creature" Grindlewald exposits "It is said that everytime one is born, a great leader comes to power." He strokes the Qilin's head fondly, thinking himself the leader. Creedence just grumbles and knods.

"Good job! Go rest. I will have an important task for you." Grindle slaps Auralius on the back, and then turns back to his new aquisition.

Hmm he said. He held the creature close, and then takes his wand, and puts it on the ground. He then takes out a knife and slits the little babies throat. :-'(.

"Shhh babay its okay." He says as the creatures blood stains his suit read and pours out onto the floor of the courtyard.

Queenie watches on in horror and astonishment, sensing Garret's dark intentions. She can read minds.

Grindlewald stares at the pool of blood, seeing the future laid at his feet like a reflection of the stormy and ominous sky that threatened to pour down above him.

---in the village of hogsmeade---

Thadeus and Newt Scamander trudge through the snow. Newt, carrying his suitcase full of magical creatures, including the Qilin. Thadeus, his ego.

"What does Dumbledore want now?" Thadeus said wareily. Not too long ago, Thadeus had put Dumbledore under house arrest for suspecting him of commiting crimes with Gridnlewald.

"He said he'd want to tell you that." Newt said, entering the grubby interior of the Hog's Head. They approached the barman who was standing in front of the mirror. He was polishing the mirror, muttering something about frogs.

"Hello" said the autistic wonderchild, "We were looking for Albus dUMBLDREO's brother?"

"Yer speaking ta him." The man yopped gruffly. He was unkempt, hateful, racist, and smelled of goats. "My brother," the barman said the word as though he wished he were an only child. Newt say that there was history there... perhaps a secret? "Is upstairs."

Thadeus and Newt entered the room where Dumbledore was being kept. He turned as they entered.

"Ah, jolly good, you're are. Do you know why you're here, Thad the mad?"

"No, was my brother supposed too?" Thaddeus responded with sullen look at his brother, which made it clear to all parties that Thaddeus and Dumbledore's brother had similar opinions on their siblings.

"No, he wasn't." Smiled Dumbledore. It would appear that Albus, like Thad the mad, had not forgooten the crimes of Thaddeus. Thaddeus ever the rule follower, had arrested Albus on suspicion of treason.

"We need to stop Grindlewald, and I need your help to it." Albus began.

"You can't do it yourself?" Thaddeus repeated, his suspicions of treason not completely cleared up. He always followed the rules.

"No, because of this." Albus held up the small pendant containing both his and Garret's blood. Newt leaned forward, interested- was this one of Dumbledore's secrets?

"Ah," Thaddeus was saying "I heard about that. It prevents you from taking action from one another, doesn't it?"

Blus nods. He was taking out the pendant, and wrapped it around his hand. "Yes, it's a young man's magic but powerful. If ever even think about moving against him..."

Suddenly the pendant turned a dark red, and shot away from his hand, leaving the chain behind. With cries of dismay, both Newt and Thaddeus noticed that the chain was pulled taught, wrapped around Dumbledores neck, strangleding him.

WITH GREAT effort, Dumbledore controls his thoughts, and the pendant was slowly stopping its motion away from that which it had came from.

"Newt spoke finally "Why did you do something so dangerous?"

Dumbledore spoke off camera, so as to be easily edited out for foreign release. "Love. I loved him. Or arrogance, or pride, or feeling too good about myself, or overconfidence."

"So..." Dumbledore said, still flustered and out of breath. "I'll need others to work for me. A team, if you will. But I'm afraid," Dumbledore said, "We might have to bend the rules a little."

Thaddeus frowned, and was about to say something, when Newt interrupted. "A team, are there others? Jacob, the muggle? Can I get him."

Dumbledore smiled. "There's no need; I have concted a brilliant scheme to recruit him..."
