Everybody was shocked, most of all dumbles. "I'm..honored." He stammers. "But I am not the one you seek. Truly, as there were two babies born that night, there are two who are pure of heart here."

The Qilin moves away, sniffing at each passing person, until it bows...

at the woman candidate. And everyone clapped.

Grindlewald, face contourting in rage, raises his wand and shoots a curse at Creedence, aiming to kill. At the same time, Dumbledore raised his wand and fires a spell at Creedence, aiming to protect. The two spells collide in mid air, and something in the air shivers. Time slowed to a crawl, and Grindlewald and Dumbledore entered the mirror dimension. The both watched, in slow motion, as the pendant keeping them from their battle, shattered into a million pieces. In a split second, they were fighting, casting epic spell after amazing spell. They could now do, what they had longed to do for years. But then they slowed, realizing the battle fruitless. They entered back into the real world. Grindlewald walked away, and teetered on the edge of a cliff overlooking the clouds. Thaddeus, Hicks, and several others gathered in front of him pointing their wands.

Grindlewald took one final look at Dumbledore. "Whose going to love you now, Albus!" He shouted. Then he was gone. Just a wisp of cloud. Everyone sat down, or went home, or when to congratulate the new head witch of the International Confederacy of Wizards.

Albus stops by Jacob, and takes him aside. "I owe you an apology." He said. "You were not supposed to experience the Cruciatas Curse."

"Eh, fughettaboutit." Jacob the muggle said nonchalantly. "But, if you really fell bad..." He said, looking around "Do you think I could keep this?" He held up his Snakewood wand.

Dumbledore giggled. "Jacob, I could think of no one more deserving."

He walked over to the edge of the cliff where Grindlewald disappeared. Newt came and stood beside him.

"Why did.."

"Did the pendant break?" Dumbledore completed the query. "Well, when we both fired at Creedence, he aimed to hurt, I aimed to protect. Our spells met, and that broke the pendant."

He looked thoughtfully down at it. "Our maybe it was just fated to be." He shrugged, chucking it off the side of the cliff, and looked over at Creedence.

Dumbledore's brother was sitting by his side, holding his hand. "Creedence, he said...let's go home."

"Yes."
