Queenie and Jacob were going to be married. It was romantic and they were both excited. A wedding at a bakery was unconventional, but so were they. Despite everything that had happened, there was this, a separate peace.

Newt Scamander was standing outside of the bakery in the snow, frantically looking at the notecards he had written for himself. "When I first met Jacob, I- No, When I first Jacob, we...ohshoot."

Then, he looked across the street and saw Dumbledore on the park bench, where not so very long ago, Hicks had been harassed by her cousins.

He walked over to him. "It's funny," Newt said. "When your experiencing historic days, they always feel so ordinary."

Dumbledore nodded. "So as it never was before, so it will be again."

"Here's hoping."

"Yeah."

Then Newt turned back around and saw the one he had been longing to see- Tina.

He ran over to her excitedly.

"Best man, I persume?"

"Yes," He said, suddenly nervous "Which would make you the best woman?"

Tina stared at him. He blanched.

"I mean, maaid of honor. Not that you aren't the best woman, that is to say, I mean, to be clear....."

She laughed. And then Hicks came from behind Newt, and took Tina by the hand, and they went inside. Newt, slowly followed. Yusuf was not invited because everyone forgot he existed.

Dumbledore, sighed, and got up. He looked at the happy group of people. Then he walked away in the snow, to meet his fate, his truth, his secrets.
