15. the plan

Ava's pov
Why am I so mad? I have this stupid cast on and I just found out that Kayla made out with this bitch from school and Isla won't talk to me. She won't even look at me so today is going great. Not. Chris and Scarlett came and talk to me about what happened yesterday. That was fun. Not. I'm grounded now but only for today and tomorrow since we have school Monday. I walk to Isla's room to see if she wants to do anything today which I doubt it. But it's worth a try. I knock on her door and she lets me in. "Are you here to yell at me again for being to clingy?" She ask writing some things down on a paper. Homework I'm guessing. "No, I'm sorry about that. But I wanted to know if you wanted to hang today?" I cross my fingers behind my back. "No. Fuck off Ava" she slams the door in my face. I sigh and walk downstairs to the living room to watch tv. Scarlett and Chris left to get something but they said that Lizzie will be coming over soon.

Isla's pov
I honestly don't know what's up with Ava. She never acts like this and it's kind of scaring me. I know we had a little argument but we always have some of those. She did apologize like she always does, which is good. Whatever. I'm doing homework while Aves is downstairs doing whatever she's doing. I got bored of homework so I texted the group chat asking if they wanted to hang out. They all said that they were busy except for Kayla. They had practice or something. I have soccer practice later on today and I had softball yesterday. I ask her if she wanted to hang out. She said that she will be here in 30 seconds.

I smile and run downstairs, making it in time to open the door for her, just as she was about to knock. "Hi!" she cheerfully says and brings me into a hug. "Who's that?" I hear Ava's voice. I roll my eyes and she appears in the room. "Oh hi" she mumbles and walks away. Kayla sighs. "Is she still angry about something that didn't happen?" I raise an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" She shakes her head telling me that we shouldn't talk here. "Let's get ice cream" I suggest. She nods, I grab my phone and house keys. "Aves, I'm leaving!" I shout and I open the door for us.

We walk out and see Lizzie pulling in our driveway. She's supposed to be 'babysitting' us while mom and dad go do some shopping or something like that. We walk down the path and meet Lizzie. "Hey girls, where are you going?" she ask pulling us into a hug. "To get ice cream" Kayla answers her. "Before practice?" I shrug. "I'll be fine" I hug her once more and we jog down the the road. "I'm tired of running" Kayla pulls my arm so that I stop. "How? We JOGGED for 10 seconds" I laugh. She rolls her eyes and links our arms together. We arrive at the shop and order our ice cream. Sam was there so we started talking for a bit but then we had to leave. We payed and decide to sit outside since it was nice out. "So, what's going on with the girl then?" I ask licking my treat.

"You know Camille Auburn?" I nod my head. "Yeah, she doesn't like me that much because of this one thing that happened literally five years ago" I giggle but she glares at me. "Was the thing that bad?" I ask. "Well no...she's just really dramatic and it was only a smoothie" I laugh making her laugh too. "So she started a rumor and that's what Aves thinks you made out with a girl?" she nods her head. "Can I tell you something?" she ask. I nod and make all my attention go to her. "You know you can tell me anything right?" she sighs and leans her head on my shoulder. We stay like that for a while until she felt ready to speak up.

"I really like your sister and I don't know how to tell her because I feel like she hates me now. And...and I've liked her since the time we met at the mall but I don't want our friendship to be broken because of my stupid crush" she tells me all in one breath. "Can I tell you something now?" I ask. She raised her head from my shoulder and nods. "I'm pretty she likes you too" her eyes go wide. "Really!" I nod my head. "How do you know?" "well first of all, she won't shut up about you and second, I know where her diary is" I wiggle my eyebrows. "Evil" we both giggle. "You know what? I'm going to test her when we get back" I stand up and she does the same. We walk back talking about our plan.

This should be fun (insert evil laugh hehehehe).

We soon arrive and we rush inside. "How was your ice cream?" Lizzie ask pulling us into another hug. Just like earlier. "Good, thank you" Kayla smiles at her. "Let's start our plan" I drag her to Ava's room but not before Lizzie stops us. "Don't hurt her or yourselves and Isla, you have practice in an hour" I nod and we rush to Ava's room. I knock on the door and wait for a response. "Come  in" I hear her say. We both walk in and she looks up from her laptop and her mouth drops but soon closes. "H-hi guys" she closes her laptop but only looks at Kayla. I nudge her side and she rolls her eyes. "What are you watching?" Kayla ask. "Um the new Jurassic World" we both nod and sit down on her bed. We can see that she's blushing.

Ava's pov
Why are they both in my room? Actually, I don't care. As long as Kayla is here then I don't care. They sit down on my bed, Kayla basically sitting on my lap. I wish she could but she obviously doesn't like me like that. "Can we watch?" she ask so nicely. "Y-yeah" I open back my laptop and put it in the middle so that we can all watch. We all sit down and watch the movie. I don't think Kayla has seen any of these. She looks lost. It's funny. "Isla, baby, you need to get ready for practice" Scarlett says as she opens the door to my room. "Hi Kayla, how are you?" I watch Kayla as she answers her.

"I'm good, how are you? I heard that you are making skin care products" Scarlett smiles brightly at her and makes her way next to her. "Isla, you ready?" Chris then walks in my room. "No, I'm getting there" she says and runs out my room. He then leaves, probably to say goodbye to Lizzie or something. "Yeah, It's called The Outset" she starts speaking about it but I tune her out. She wants us to help her decorate her office, so that should be fun. And design some shirts and hats and stuff. "That sounds fun, let me know so I can be the first one to buy them" Kayla says as she was walking out the room. "I will" Scarlett leaves and it's just us.

"AVA! WHERE'S MY BALL?" I hear Isla shout from downstairs. Probably running around looking for it. "In my room!" I shout back. I can hear her sigh from all the way up here. "No cleats allowed upstairs" I heard dad tell her. "Fine" the next thing I know, Isla is on Chris' back, in my room. I get up and hand her the ball. "Thanks. Have fun on your date" she laughs. So does he and I know for a fact that they did their little handshake. I look over at Kayla and laugh nervously. "She's just joking" I continue to laugh and watch the movie hoping she will forget about it. God save me from embarrassment.
